Archivist notes: This month the theme is states of mind due to the number of them each of the night's speakers seemed to emphasize. Tia was the first with a state of mind needed for astral projection I had forgotten over the decade and a half since first hearing this. Once more it helped with that skill and a quiet, inner peace with her advice. Omal uses the Titanic as an analogy for the end of the Victorian era. Karra then finishes side one teaching how one heals after the loss of a loved one as well as going over the why's and causes of certain headaches.

Lyka's back on the base back then, fresh from her victory at the Tri-base Ski Championship to provide a fencing / life lesson and discuss the armor used by the Sirian Defense Force. Leah follows with a dissertation on ways to pleasure a fully-clothed woman which Kiri expands as she finish's side two but includes clues found through body language.

SIDE ONE

(Tia starts things off)

Tia: how are you doing?

Russ: ah, quite well.

Tia: uh-huh. Town meeting, oh interesting, interesting, interesting.

Russ: yeah, I missed that one.

Tia: didn't miss much.

Russ: I didn't think so.

Tia: no. Debate on politics, sports and what sports can offer as an example.

Russ: oh, interesting subject.

Tia: uh-huh, absolutely nothing to do with real life.

Russ: well, it's inspiring isn't it?

Tia: it's.....(chuckles)....it's dribble.

Russ: ahhh inspiration is good for the masses.

Tia: so okay, are you going to say.......well I'm going to say told you so, told you so and you didn't believe me, 9,000?

Russ: 9,000?

Tia: 9,100 and....

Russ: well I believed you.

Tia: you just didn't think it would be so soon.

Russ: yeah.

Tia: and what did I say?

Russ: well you said it would hit it.

Tia: uh-huh.

Russ: well 10,000 in a week who knows.

Tia: who knows, who cares, who knows, who knows, who cares, who knows.....I'm just blasé about the whole entire thing. It's a stock market out of control and why?

Russ: well people are making millions aren't they?

Tia: oh yeah, they're going to lose millions too.

(talks to one of the house cats)

Tia: okay, what are we going to talk about?

Russ: ahh, astral projection.

Tia: okay, it brings up a nice little problem doesn't it?

Russ: with.....? (Ed. notes: name has been edited out)

Tia: uh-huh.

Russ: uh-huh.

Tia: it's important that she starts to get coaching and lessons. Because.....

Russ: she has to want coaching and lessons.

Tia: uh-huh, she has to want first of all and she's going to run into some problems otherwise. You want to know why?

Russ: umm.

Tia: because A, she can't shield, she read through that thing briefly and didn't understand it. B, she's going to try for the simple reason that Mark made a slight goof in his statement.

Russ: what did he say?

Tia: he said, "most people, couple hundred miles is nice but that's a walk in the park for me." She is going to want to do better. She's that kind of person isn't she?

Russ: true.

Tia: that's going to cause problems.

Russ: hmm.

Tia: it's an honest mistake. He just wanted to state that there is the levels and the fact that he is good and a good teacher and he is a good teacher, it's just that he made....didn't estimate her properly. She's a good girl and that's the problem.

Russ: she's an over achiever I suppose in certain areas.

Tia: she's a good girl. You know what I mean by that.....

Russ: uh-uh.

Tia: she's not an adult.

Russ: ahh.

Tia: she is still a little girl. Which brings me up to some interesting things but let's get back to your questions on astral travel.

Russ: okay, astral travel. Now Mark mentioned earlier about him going into his mind.

Tia: uh-huh.

Russ: now is that one point of his astral travel ability that he uses?

Tia: yeah, it's kind of retreating within himself to analyze things. Shuts down basically all external input.

Russ: now how's he shut down the external inputs?

Tia: basically he goes into a state which is near to astral travel or his level of astral travel.......it's kind of like meditation you know?

Russ: uh-huh.

Tia: and it's a great way of looking within yourself and analyzing things. I do it, I do it in a different way.

Russ: what do you do?

Tia: basically what I do is I go outside, check myself and then I retreat within. He just goes from where he is deeper and deeper inside. What I do is I check to make sure everything is safe for me and then I retreat within myself, going deeper within my body. That's in essence is very similar to what Mark does apart from he just goes....pulls himself in and in and in and tends to either sit or lie very still.

Russ: hmmm.

Tia: uh-huh.

Russ: and then how do you go out?

Tia: out? How do you mean?

Russ: you're inside and then you have to go outside again?

Tia: no, I just come back up like an escalator.....elevator. I just go back through and I check everything as I come back up and I'm back to being bubbly and cheerful.

Russ: so it's a little matter of being serious at first.

Tia: yes, it's not joking around or anything.

Russ: right.

Tia: it's a state of mind. It's very, very easy to do and quite a lot of people do it without realizing but to do it properly, to be able to go within and deep think without any external input, to be alone in a crowded room where all the noise is suddenly gone and you're sitting in the crowded room but you're not there. You're deep, deep within yourself.

Russ: that's probably why I have so much troubles, I don't go within myself........

Tia: uh-huh.

Russ: I try to go outside myself.

Tia: uh-huh.

Russ: so I'm not shutting everything down.

Tia: yeah. It's kind of like being in a big house right?

Russ: uh-huh.

Tia: and you wander outside, you wander around the house and everything's fine and dandy and then you go inside the house and you close the door and then you go up to your room and you close the door and then you get into the bed and pull the bedclothes over you and lay down and close your eyes. But you see what's happening in that analogy?

Russ: uh-huh.

Tia: you closed the front door, you close the door to your bedroom, you close yourself off with the bedclothes over you, you close your eyes.

Russ: yeah, it's like going to sleep but you're not actually going to sleep.

Tia: that's right and the doors are signifying closing things, going each level within yourself. Okay you're now in an enclosed house when you close the front door right?

Russ: uh-huh.

Tia: you go up the stairs into your room, you close the door, you're within an enclosed room. You pull the bedclothes over you, you're now enclosed in your bed and then you close your eyes and you're enclosed within your mind.

Russ: well that's a good little astral travel tip, probably add in the "how to".

Tia: uh-huh. But that's kind of going within yourself.

Russ: well that's a good idea.

Tia: yeah. Going into a deeper state of meditation instead of sitting there and doing what yogi says......the yogi's say. Take so many deep breaths, so many shallow breaths, hum. Go, "hmmmmmmmmmmm." Create that resonance in the cavities in your skull. Hmmmmmmmmm............nope, doesn't work for me, never brought up that way.

Russ: well yeah, different culture.

Tia: uh-huh.

Russ: oh good, gives me something to work on really.

Tia: uh-huh but getting back to the seed that is sown. Both of you have sown two very different types of seeds in her. Within her mind are two seeds that need to germinate, they need watering, they need to be nurtured. Otherwise she will experiment and more than likely get into some trouble, get out of the trouble and get scared by it.

Russ: well I'll give her a call and see what's up.

Tia: uh-huh. Yes?

Russ: well that was basically it.

Tia: oh okay. Hmmm yes, okay well that's just about covered that. What we could probably do is.......you'll be around next week?

Russ: I'll be leaving Tuesday, Tuesday morning, 4:30 in the morning.

Tia: okay, well that will give me plenty of time to work up and then will you be back when?

Russ: 10 days later which would put me back on probably Friday night.

Tia: okay so that gives me a good 14 days to sit down and come up with a how to astral travel tailor-made. Okay well I better put on the next speaker.

Russ: okay.

(Tia says goodbye in Durondedunn)

(Omal becomes the next speaker of the night)

Omal: greetings and felicitations Russ and how are you functioning?

Russ: greetings Omal, quite well.

Omal: good, good, good.

Russ: and yourself?

Omal: I am functioning very well.

Russ: excellent.

Omal: okay I will be brief due to the fact that I do have a meeting.

Russ: okay.

Omal: let me rotate the body so I can talk to you easier as this is of course Kiri's portable unit which is much more superior than....

(a device Kiri built that generates channeling field)

Russ: so, Mark poured you some orange juice here.

Omal: yes so I hear. Thank you.

Russ: pleasure Sir.

Omal: Sir?

Russ: well, I'm in a respectful mood this evening.

Omal: ahhh, respectful indeed. Okay, hmm, let us address things. Okay you have questions.

Russ: indeed. A lot of questions are based on preparedness......

Omal: uh-huh.

Russ: and getting consciously and mentally prepared for the changes that are happening is part of our editorial we're doing....we did with the latest edition of the News.

Omal: uh-huh.

Russ: and so to go along with that, I'd like to get some other stuff to go along with that. We compared our current time to being as on the Titanic.

Omal: uh-huh.

Russ: in which right now is like the boarding area. We're on board.....

Omal: talking of which.

Russ: hmmm.

Omal: let us........and you will have to keep a note of the time.......have a moment of silence. Why?

Russ: this is the time when the Titanic went down.

Omal: and it is going down or would be going down right now, in fact it would be broken in half with its end up going down right now so let us have a few moments of silence, let us say about 30 seconds.

Russ: okay.

Omal: okay so if you can keep an eye on the time.

Russ: uh-hmm.

(30 seconds of silence follows)

Russ: okay.

Omal: okay.

Russ: now there is a reason you did that.........

Omal: yes.

Russ: besides the fact that it's merely a point in history that we're observing but there is also an emotional tie that affects myself and probably Mark to that particular point in time.

Omal: more than you know with Mark.

Russ: ahhh, well I'm sure you can't explain the one with Mark to me.

Omal: okay, I will endeavor to do so..

Russ: oh, okay.

Omal: a young man that has a drink problem, that hates Sopwith Camels was a very self-loathing person. The reason that he was self-loathing was because of his drink. Why did he have a drink problem? Remember, when he died, he was probably no more than 21 or 22 years old.

Russ: 1918.

Omal: correct. Go back six years, what happened six years prior to his death?

Russ: Titanic went down.

Omal: now why would he have such a connection with it?

Russ: well let's see.

Omal: English history, what kind of person at that time flew aircraft?

Russ: the more well-to-do.

Omal: correct. And the more well-to-do at that time did what with their children?

Russ: ran them through school, good schools.

Omal: good schools, boarding schools.

Russ: right.

Omal: doing a simple bit of deductive reasoning and from what Tia is saying about Mark and the problems he has with the Titanic the movie, or any movie to do with the Titanic, makes me believe that his parents or at least one of his parents perished on the boat.

(from his last past life)

Russ: so if possibly both parents are on, perhaps his mother would've been saved on it...

Omal: possibly.

Russ: while his father would've possibly died.

Omal: possibly.

Russ: I doubt that they would've been traveling in the lower decks in third class where much.....the main number of people died.

Omal: probably somewhere in the middle. But the moment of silence was not only for those that perished, it was for the start and end of a piece of history. The Victorian era of great industrial growth came to the end with the Titanic. People's belief in their invincibility, people's belief in their growth that they had achieved the ultimate pinnacle and the Olympia and the Titanic were examples of this pinnacle of engineering when in actual fact they were not. The Titanic supposedly was meant to be a lifeboat in itself with its bulkheads that were self-sealing. With a flick of a switch they could be turned on or off. So they did not need in their opinion as many lifeboats. Believing.......

Russ: no, no, no, no, no, no, no.......you will drop that orange juice all over the floor.....there you go. I saw the Titanic in its own little self going. (chuckles)

Omal: now those comments of yours, no, no, no, no, no, no, let us look at them in the context of the conversation. The Titanic and the glass, the glass being the vessel, being the metaphor for the Titanic. This piece of silica and various other compounds being invincible and my belief that I was putting it on something correct whilst talking to you instead of looking down. Okay, the belief that I had, that I was doing the right thing whilst talking to you and having total confidence in all this technological equipment around me to help me, to help me put it down without causing any problems is very much like the belief that the people had for the Titanic. And it was a symptom not only of a small group of individuals but the whole entire Western world and its technological advances that it had made. The ending was the belief in that. Now it carried on over for the next six years and basically at the end of the first world war of your planet, it was gone. But a common misconception about the Titanic is that it was the worst disaster at the time, that is incorrect. About a year and a half to two years prior, a ship had gone down with almost 2,000 people that were killed on board. But they were not prominent people, they were not the owners of great industrial businesses. They were not people of such well-known characteristics such as Miss Molly Brown. They were just mere immigrants wishing for a new start but but being at the end of an old style. The growth that they went through in the waiting period of understanding and being prepared to come back as better people having been through what they had been through and the people of the Titanic that went through the same problem is very important to understand. With that period in time, there was the Lusitania, the Mauritania, the Olympus, the Titanic, all these beautiful, powerful ships all destined to become famous in one way or another. The Olympus, the sister ship to the Titanic, the Titanic itself, the Mauritania, the Lusitania, all destined to play an important part in history. What part does the Lusitania play in history?

Russ: well, the Lusitania was the ship that was supposedly sunk by a mine but at the time it was vehemently denied that it was a mine that sunk it.

Omal: you are inaccurate.

Russ: oh.

Omal: it was a torpedo.

Russ: ahhh but the Germans denied all that.

Omal: correct.

Russ: and through further proof, it was found that it was a torpedo.

Omal: correct. It was also denied by the British that it was carrying weapons.

Russ: right.

Omal: it was. But it played an important part in history, it was also the ending of an era like the Titanic, it was the end. By 1918, all that old invincibility that had come along with the pinnacle of the Titanic was all gone, all history. Now the slate was set for even more technological advances.

Russ: yeah, after the first World War everything just took a major jump exponentially.

Omal: correct. So was it a pinnacle that had been achieved? No, there were bigger and better ships to come. The Queen Mary, the Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Elizabeth two, the Graff Zeppelin, the R101, another disaster. The Hindenburg, another disaster. All these transportation's were thought of at the time as being the ultimate pinnacle of their technology. Each one was realized to be a stepping stone to the next one in the particular design fields that they were in. Having been found that some of them were failing, they were put to one side, discarded, rejected, dismantled or still sailing, still flying. So, having looked at each level of achievement as being the pinnacle, you must look ahead and see what transpires from those pinnacles. They're not pinnacles, they're just mere steps. A step onward, a step upward, a step to advancement.

Russ: uh-huh.

Omal: let us look at technology. The pinnacle of technology ten years ago is sitting upstairs. The pinnacle of technology that is readily available for every man is sitting in your office. The pinnacle of technology that is available to the extremely wealthy, they're just mere steps but in their historical places, they are very important. The computer that sits upstairs, ten years ago you could get no better. The fact that it's been augmented and changed and makes it very competitive even with the computers of today tells you how good it was. Was is the correct phrase, it is passed. The important thing to remember is that with technology, whether it is of avionics, ocean going or space going, at its time it is the most technologically advanced there is for its time and for a time. Now do you have questions?

Russ: yeah, one thing concerning the Titanic and myself. As I recall, I wasn't incarnate at the time.

Omal: uh-huh.

Russ: but I was advising a certain person who was incarnate at the time.

(Omal had told me it was Nicoli Tesla between lives in a previous session)

Omal: uh-huh.

Russ: and so I was looking at it from a rather higher dimensional point theoretically.

Omal: no, no. You were looking at it from a different spiritual point.

Russ: ah, higher dimensional would be an actual transformation to that dimension.

Omal: correct.

Russ: hmmm.

Omal: a different spiritual plane.

Russ: but wouldn't I have access to a higher dimensional informational source, the Akashic Records at that point?

Omal: the Akashic Records of a third dimensional existence, not a fifth, sixth, seventh.

Russ: oh that's a misconception on my own part then.

Omal: correct.

Russ: ahh. Okay, and so from that point, that gives me kind of an insight into the channelings that we receive.

Omal: uh-huh.

Russ: because a certain gentlemen who I started listening to channeling first.......

Omal: Mr. Ryerson. (Kevin Ryerson)

Russ: yes, thank you. Channels in third dimensional entities who have Akashic Record knowledge of third dimensional sources.

Omal: correct.

Russ: but not higher dimensional sources.

Omal: correct. If they claim to have so, then they are mistaken.

Russ: no, they do not.

Omal: correct. They merely claim to be dis-incarnate individuals who have a knowledge of Akashic Records or have access to them.

Omal: correct.

Russ: so that puts a perspective onto our own channelings that we're receiving here.

Omal: correct.

Russ: ahh.

Omal: see when Kiri accesses or Karra accesses higher dimensional, they can also see lower dimensional.

Russ: I see.

Omal: they access the sixth dimensional Akashic Records.

Russ: but they can't access the seventh.

Omal: correct.

Russ: now......

Omal: however, there is a little quirk in that.

Russ: okay.

Omal: when you have a higher again dimensional being inhabiting a lower dimensional being's body such as Leonedies.

Russ: correct.

Omal: he has access to the eighth, the seventh, the sixth, the third and so on.

Russ: uh-huh, interesting. Now that gives him a little bit more advantage over most sixth dimensional beings.

Omal: yes.

Russ: but why? Why would having access to eighth dimensional Akashic Records be any different than having Akashic Records from sixth or conversely, having from let's say sixth to third? What is the advantages there?

Omal: because.......let us say you are an engineer.

Russ: okay.

Omal: okay, and you can access your sixth dimensional Akashic Records.

Russ: okay.

Omal: okay, you are involved in a project let us say working for a computer company.

Russ: all right.

Omal: you see how to build a sixth dimensional computer.

Russ: ahh.

Omal: you build that sixth dimensional computer, it works, of course it's going to work. What have you just done?

Russ: you cheated.

Omal: seriously cheated. Not only have you cheated, you've looked at the rule book and burnt it.

Russ: I see.

Omal: you are not learning how to deal with the third dimensional limitations.

Russ: hmm.

Omal: you're basically going way outside and using those technologies. Now following along the logical conclusion, you are third dimensional person with sixth dimensional memories.

Russ: uh-huh.

Omal: you have sixth dimensional whims. You have built this computer that runs at about 10,000 MHz, possibly even higher, I do not know. You have built it with unlimited holographic memory, you have built it with no need for RAM, you have built it in such a way that it will read and write any configuration of system that can be thought of on your planet. You turn around and sell it, sell the rights to build it or you build it yourself and find that because the technology is so easy to work with that you can mass-produce it very cheap. You sell the computers that you manufacture. You have basically a laptop, much like the one over there, that has the power of almost a thousand of the fastest computers on your planet. What have you done? Besides making yourself very wealthy.

Russ: you've interfered with the natural progression of the third dimension........of the third dimensional planet you inhabit.

Omal: correct and you have possibly put them on a pathway that they were not destined to take.

Russ: right, if it has military applications that would be used in a way that we'd be a just a burning cinder of rock in the middle of the universe or the far end of it.....small tail of it.

Omal: galaxy.

Russ: galaxy. Now here's a question for you then, let's call it my last question since I know you have a meeting to go to.........

Omal: thank you.

Russ: Hades Base is made up of individuals from multi-dimensions working together in a single space.

Omal: uh-huh.

Russ: now, the individuals from a higher dimension, yourself included......

Omal: uh-huh.

Russ: have these memories available that you can draw upon to increase the technological abilities around you........

Omal: uh-huh.

Russ: and yet you also have around you many individuals of a lower dimensional selves.

Omal: uh-huh.

Russ: so therefore, how are you able to use the knowledge you have and yet not interfere with those sixth dimensional beings that you work with?

Omal: it is very, very simple. I do not tell them anything that they do not need to know. If I think or slightly hesitate that I should tell somebody something, then I do not tell them. The hesitation is doubt. If I have a little bit of doubt that the information that I'm about to give is wrong and I hesitate in my voice and I think to myself, "hmm, okay let's.." No at that point, I will not say it because the hesitation is a warning for me, also training does help. But knowing what they understand as being the pinnacle of technology and what I understand as being the pinnacle of technology is two different things. You understand?

Russ: uh-huh, yes in fact that's a good model we can use for down here someday possibly.

Omal: hopefully yes.

Russ: wherever.

Omal: okay.

Russ: thank you Omal.

Omal: strange place to put this, there must be a reason for it.

Russ: I'm sure there is, probably a good reason.

Omal: yes, I think it has something to do with the young lady that has just come through the bamboo.

(in Mark, Tia's and Kiri's apartment)

Russ: well that would explain that. Farewell.

Omal: farewell. Live long, prosper and, I'll be back.

(Tia returns to her ringmistress duties)

Tia: (says hi in Durondedunn)

Russ: hi Tia.

Tia: yo.

Russ: yo.

Tia: yo.

Russ: how's it going?

Tia: it's going good.

Russ: excellent.

Tia: how much?

Russ: well looks like about, we can't really tell because it's a really dark tape we're working with tonight. Hard to tell.

Tia: ahh, okay hard to tell. Okay.

(She says goodbye in Durondedunn)

(Karra sits down in the pyramid)

Karra: hello.

Russ: hello my love.

Karra: it is funny, mother gets up, daughter jumps on the futon.

Russ: that would explain the last little bit.

Karra: uh-huh, yes it would. Waiting in ambush, three pairs of eyes. It must be very close to their bedtime.

(the Cubs, Tia and Mark's children)

Russ: it would have to be.

Karra: what time is it?

Russ: 9:53 down here.

Karra: so it is 7:53 up here.

Russ: right.

Karra: so they must be almost ready for bed. By the looks of them they were.

Russ: well they're getting older, they want to stay up later.

Karra: uh-huh.

Russ: normal.

Karra: yes, perfectly normal. Playing hide and go seek I believe. Okay....

Russ: that was an excellent section there.

Karra: yes, Omal did go into details.

Russ: uh-huh, quite well.

Karra: uh-huh.

Russ: and yourself my love, how you doing?

Karra: I'm doing fine, I'm doing fine.

Russ: good to hear.

Karra: uh-huh, been spending time with my daughter and granddaughter.

(Alana and Miranda)

Russ: hmmm.

Karra: yes she's almost ready to go back to work.

Russ: and how are mother and daughter doing?

Karra: they're doing fine, they're doing good.

Russ: a difficult pregnancy?

Karra: not really.

Russ: that's good.

Karra: just little bit long on the delivery but that's to be expected. The child is perfectly normal for a sixth dimensional child, nothing special but everything is satisfactory.

Russ: which brings up the next point.

Karra: okay.

Russ: inward astral projection and I see now possibly where a lot of problems might have lied.......

Karra: uh-huh.

Russ: it's not going inward, but going outward. By doing so, that leaves open a lot of different sensory activities that we should ignore but normally shut down for successful astral travel.

Karra: the question is, why did he leave them out?

Russ: I don't know, I don't know. It's the first time I've ever heard of this until now.

Karra: it's possible that he didn't even think of them, that he does them.......if you remember what is his comment about his astral travel?

Russ: it'd have to be that.

Karra: it's all automatic.

Russ: right.

Karra: and if you remember, he had a hard time trying to lay out a teaching program.

Russ: yeah because he didn't even realize what he's doing.

Karra: uh-huh.

Russ: but tonight we got good insight into it.

Karra: yeah.

Russ: something I can definitely use at this point then because I......one of the things I noticed about astral travelers they do go inward quite a bit.

Karra: uh-huh. Maybe you should ask him about it, going within, what he meant by that.

Russ: yeah.

Karra: because wouldn't it be logical to.......yes you're right it would be logical for that to be a step, part of it.......

Russ: right.

Karra: meditating within yourself before you go out.

Russ: absolutely. Because then you're not concentrating on your surroundings outside yourself, you're blocking those out and you're shutting them down.

Karra: I would assume so, you've got to remember how feeble my astral travel ability is.

Russ: true, true. It still does make more sense.

Karra: uh-huh.

Russ: so gotta find the little keys here and there.

Karra: yeah.

Russ: ah excellent. And then how is the ambassadorship going lately my love?

Karra: busy, that's why I'm a little bit ho-hum.

Russ: tired huh?

Karra: uh-huh.

Karra: okay now, I've got  to come up with a topic here quickly........healing.

Russ: okay.

Karra: healing from loss, whether it is a physical loss, a mental loss or a spiritual loss. Let us look at physical loss, the loss of a loved one and how the healing from that can heal so many other things.

Russ: how are you doing?

Karra: I'm having difficulty thinking up good thoughts, I've been dealing with ambassadorial duties all day as you know and your frustration doesn't help.

Russ: well my headache probably doesn't help, that wouldn't be your headache would it?

Karra: could be.

Russ: could be?

Karra: uh-huh.

Russ: we're sharing a headache.

Karra: it could be both actually and what makes it even more uncomfortable is the fact that we got headaches for different reasons. Okay let us address headaches. Okay, headaches are caused by numerous reasons. Normally by failing to eat properly, stress or trauma. Most headaches are caused by failure to eat correctly or stress. The ones by trauma are on a totally different category and we will not bother with them because they are different. Stress and nutritional headaches serve a purpose of making us rest, taking time out from our problems, being able to deal with the problems at a different time. It is like the pumping of iron when our muscles get tired and the thing is that headaches serve that purpose to stop us from overexerting ourselves and doing serious damage. It's a little bit like the negative feedback loop and the headaches created by that sometimes.

Russ: hmmm.

Karra: it is the expanding and growing of the mental faculties, using parts of the brain that haven't been used before, giving them a workout or that they haven't been pushed that far before. Now dealing with learning new things can be a stressful experience. It can also be a tiring experience and I find, I don't know about you hon, but I find that when I am deep in thought, learning something new, doing something new, something that is stressful, I forget to eat. So headaches of the mental kind and the nutritional kind can be linked. So how do we stop getting those headaches? Well, a snack might help and taking a snack serves two purposes, it takes us away from what we're doing, gives us an opportunity to be away from our work unless of course you happen to be somebody like me that has lunch or breakfast at my desk. Maybe I should have breakfast in the breakfast room.

Russ: or on the patio.

Karra: hmmm that would be nice and lunch also on the patio or in the breakfast room.

Russ: I think it would be a good break for you to get out in the fresh air.

Karra: yes, think it would be. Listen to yourself.

Russ: well I did that today though.

Karra: and you still ended up with a headache, why?

Russ: yeah well but I had no choice in the matter because I'm working at my desk too. I went out to go get food though......

Karra: uh-huh.

Russ: and took a break for a little while.

Karra: uh-huh.

Russ: I ate well.

Karra: but whilst you were out getting your lunch, what were you doing?

Russ: well I was thinking about work.

Karra: uh-huh.

SIDE TWO

(Karra continues on side two)

Russ: right, well we need to both of us pay more attention to the causes of our headaches and use them as warning signs that we need to break off what we're doing mentally and physically.......

Karra: uh-huh.

Russ: and relax.

Karra: uh-huh. And one of us must try not to get a headache whilst the other has a headache.

Russ: that's a good idea.

Karra: uh-huh.

Russ: or at least try to heal the other person at the same time.

Karra: yes.

Russ: I'll work on you, you work on me, we should be able to get this all figured out.

Karra: that sounds like a good idea. Okay we have I believe two more speakers, maybe three.

Russ: oh good.

Karra: okay so I will hop off.

Russ: okay my love, headaches and all well we'll get back to later on.

Karra: uh-huh yeah, we will address that when you come up.

Russ: well we've got jet lag to work on next.

Karra: uh-huh. I could give you some interesting dimensional lag tips.

Russ: well whatever we can do to work on the jet lag will probably help a lot.

Karra: fresh fruit.

Russ: good idea.

Karra: uh-huh.

Russ: I'll have to remember that one.

Karra: mineral drinks.

Russ: mineral water?

Karra: uh-huh.

Russ: okay.

Karra: probably calcium, calcium drinks.

Russ: hmmm, milk.

Karra: uh-huh. Okay, that's the protein side dealt with.

Russ: okay my sweetheart.

Karra: okay, and you know preparation, adjusting your body's time clock and everything.

Russ: right, working on that.

Karra: uh-huh. See you.

Russ: have a great time love, see you later.

Karra: love you, love you.

(Tia returns between speakers)

Tia: (says hi in Durondedunn)

Russ: hi Tia.

Tia: okay, next speaker.

Russ: okay.

(Lyka explodes into the channeling session)

Lyka: yo.

Russ: yo Lyka, how's it going?

Lyka: it's going good, what's this?

Russ: good to see you back here darling.

Lyka: it is, good to be back. Only for a few more days, 30 days I believe. Ahh, 15 days.

Russ: still, congratulations on your race results.

(the Tri-Base Ski Championship)

Lyka: oh thank you. Yes, I am the champion, I am the champion.

Russ: excellent job on your part dear.

Lyka: uh-huh.

Russ: kept our side up and did real good.

Lyka: yeah, three years in a row, I'm going for four. I want to be the ultimate, I will retire when I have got four gold in a row.

Russ: you should get five.

Lyka: don't want to be greedy.

Russ: don't want it to end on an even number.

Lyka: uh-huh.

Russ: five would be very un-catchable.

Lyka: go on, go and get yours.

Russ: all right love. And didn't you just get back from a long trip?

(gets a fencing sword out from where it was kept)

Lyka: it was only a month.

Russ: I know, but didn't you make it a long spaceflight to get here?

Lyka: no, I've been on base 14 days now.

Russ: oh.

Lyka: uh-huh.

Russ: how did you deal with the jet lag or space lag as it is?

Lyka: I'm getting used to it.

Russ: yeah? Can you stand or get on your knees? Epee or foil?

Lyka: just eppe, I'm going to give you a quick lesson.

Russ: okay.

Lyka: okay.

(a lesson in sword fighting commences and has been edited out)

Lyka: good. That's enough, okay.

Russ: very good.

Lyka: thank you.

Russ: thank you. Very good lesson.

Lyka: okay, now what did you learn from that?

Russ: less movement, more, more.......

Lyka: blade control.

Russ: blade control. Well the trick is, it's no good to get a point on your other opponent.....sorry about that.

Lyka: why are you apologizing to me?

Russ: you're right, Mark's going to feel it. Anyway, it's......he brought the sword down.

Lyka: I asked him to.

Russ: well then he asked for it.

Lyka: well put it this way, I said, "I won't channel unless you bring the sword down."

Russ: ahh, well that kept things at a more even pace then.

Lyka: uh-huh.

Russ: but it's no good to get a point on your opponent if if they're getting a point on you at the same time.

Lyka: that correct.

Russ: I mean it's just basically a null waste of energy.

Lyka: uh-huh also, what was taught up there?

Russ: hmmm.

Lyka: you fell for some tricks.

Russ: uh-huh.

Lyka: you went for the point when there was no way that you were going to get the point. For example, when I crossed under your blade, I went like that.....your blade went that way and I came back up that way. Or when I went this way, your blade went that way and I went that way. So you see? Don't be deceived by tricks.

Russ: well it's easy to be deceived by tricks, you're expecting one thing.....

Lyka: uh-huh.

Russ: and if you just lead them into believing that you'll still go that way......

Lyka: uh-huh.

Russ: the trick works.

Lyka: of course.

Russ: well, it's a good practice study, I need to work on that a bit more.

Lyka: uh-huh..speed, what was the hit ratio? About three to one?

Russ: uh-huh.

Lyka: okay, speed, how much faster was I?

Russ: much faster.

Lyka: about three times faster and I wasn't even cracking up a sweat.

Russ: just warming up.

Lyka: uh-huh.

Russ: okay.

Lyka: okay targeting.

Russ: me and eppe aren't very good though, I'm still learning that part of the whole sword play. I'm much better at the foil side of it.

Lyka: targeting, targeting is very important. You were going for here right? Until I said fish, fish for the arm. You were going for the body. Where were the majority of my hits?

Russ: on my arm.

Lyka: uh-huh why?

Russ: because you were eppe.

Lyka: uh-huh. Because that's the easiest part to reach for.

Russ: right.

Lyka: if I was going for your left side of your body right? I've got to reach further and what am I doing?

Russ: exposing yourself.

Lyka: that's right. Now, exposing oneself, exposing to danger, what is the purpose of fortifications?

Russ: to keep yourself from being exposed to danger.

Lyka: good. How do you make them?

Russ: by building up a element of defense that forces your attacker into working to break through.

Lyka: no, it forces your attacker into exposed positions. Uh-huh and that is a side product, forcing them to work. You want to do minimum amount of work. When I was fencing, how much work was Mark's body doing?

Russ: very little.

Lyka: okay, whereas your body.

Russ: was doing more.

Lyka: correct, back to defense work, defense is the key to survival. If you force your opponents to make themselves work harder, to be visible, to cut down on where they can hide increases your chances of what?

Russ: survival.

Lyka: correct, survivability. If you're in a strong fortified position, it's no good to go charging out and engage the enemy because you are now on an even playing field, on an even battlefield. So, what must you do?

Russ: maintain your position unless it's absolutely necessary to go out.

Lyka: correct.

Russ: and if it is necessary to go out, make sure your enemy is no longer there.

Lyka: or, you have superior equipment or odds or better tactics or better suited for the terrain. Why am I bringing these things up?

Russ: prepare for preparation for the future.

Lyka: good and why do I sound like an officer?

Russ: because you are an officer.

Lyka: good. Command qualities.

Russ: right.

Lyka: being able to explain clearly and concisely as eloquently and as fast as possible. So, how do you defend against your opponent in a situation where it is difficult?

Russ: you maintain cover.

Lyka: correct or you move, you retreat.

Russ: true, hmm.

Lyka: urban warfare, something I'm studying at the moment.

Russ: tricky concept, something I'm studying at the moment.

Lyka: very difficult to do. House to house combat is nasty, especially for the attackers, almost as bad for the defenders. But, getting back to sword fighting, limited movement, speed, deception. Urban conflict, deception, speed, limited movement.

Russ: uh-huh.

Lyka: you see?

Russ: uh-huh.

Lyka: so, it wasn't just a little bit of fun lesson, it was an analogy you see?

Russ: good call. I'll use it in the sense that it's presented.

Lyka: uh-huh, it's also fun too.

Russ: well yeah that's true.

Lyka: okay, questions?

Russ: how's...(a tape error occurred at that point)

Lyka: oh life's going great, I'm glad to be back on the base, glad to be back with my love.

Russ: well that's good. So.........I was going to ask you something.

Lyka: yes, hard to not be able to shout from the highest place that I found my love.

Russ: true. Don't you, do you still have the same problems that your former commander had? That in the field with your uniform?

Lyka: yes.

Russ: have you fixed that yet?

Lyka: there is no fixing for it because of the amount of equipment that's carried under there.

Russ: why not talk to Kiri or......

Lyka: because Kiri doesn't understand the problems.

Russ: how about Leah?

Lyka: Leah doesn't understand the problems, you have to be in combat to understand the problems.

Russ: so what if you put one of them in a simulated combat in a simulator and went through the combat in the uniform that they were wearing?

Lyka: do you think we would've come up with something?

Russ: I would think so but it doesn't sound like an impossible problem to do.

Lyka: you need as much movement as possible and there's a whole load of equipment that strapped around there. Besides, it's not every planet that has those kind of weapons.

(lasers the suit is designed to deflect)

Russ: true. There's got to be an easier way. How do the guys do it?

Lyka: the guys?

Russ: yeah.

Lyka: they have the same armor. The only difference between us and the guys is in the women's non-commissioned officers outfit and the ranks they have the or we have the tight fitted groin protection. Basically like a pair of steel panties?

Russ: right.

Lyka: doesn't work in the officers outfits.

Russ: why not?

Lyka: because of the amount of equipment.

Russ: oh.

Lyka: for the steel panties to work right? They do away with the skirt, the metal skirt, the metal skirt is there because of the equipment because with the equipment you do away with the panties for the groin protection and everything.

Russ: don't you get a little bit exposed though?

Lyka: no, because the armor protects you. That shot was a million to one. Ricocheting off the ground and straight up?

(the laser shot that killed her former commander during combat)

Russ: true. I just worry about you darling.

Lyka: hey, if I'm going to die then I die, I've done my duty, I've kept my oath but I'm planning to retire as a general.

Russ: general what?

Lyka: a general nuisance.

Russ: ahh, that's what I thought. Okay, well that will work then.

Lyka: besides, there's going to be five years where I won't be able to go into combat.

Russ: well your school work?

Lyka: well, that's not including my schoolwork.

Russ: oh, well why wouldn't you go into combat?

Lyka: mothers aren't allowed to go into combat and as soon as I finished my schooling, I want to be a mother.

Russ: ahh.

Lyka: so you're talking nine years down the road before I get back into combat.

Russ: well that's good.

Lyka: uh-huh.

Russ: well maybe by then they'll figure something out anyway.

Lyka: hopefully, hopefully. You've got to remember the amount of equipment that we carry. In that area we have our receivers, our transmitters, our little computers that tell us the status of everybody, there's a lot of stuff that is carried down in that area as well as up through the back.

Russ: well, who knows what nine years will bring.

Lyka: who knows. Maybe in nine years I'll be up for another commission and have to spend another four years at college.

Russ: well 30 days my dear hmm?

Lyka: 30 days?

Russ: is that all you've got left?

Lyka: no.

Russ: how long have you got left on the base?

Lyka: 15.

Russ: 15? Oh yeah that's right, you're off....two weeks have already gone by.

Lyka: uh-huh.

Russ: well that's good. Did you have a good time at the party the other night?

Lyka: uh-huh, great time, great time.

Russ: excellent, what happened? I didn't get to hear any of those details, the down and dirty details anyway.

Lyka: what do you mean?

Russ: like what really happened?

Lyka: what have you heard?

Russ: all I heard was there was a party.

Lyka: ohhh, yeah we had a good time.

Russ: yeah but what really happened?

Lyka: we had a lot to drink.

Russ: yeah.

Lyka: we got very silly, I got stripped.

Russ: good for you.

Lyka: uh-huh.

Russ: I can't think of a better person to have it happen to.

Lyka: uh-huh. I tried or quite a number of people tried to have wild sex with me. I'm starting to get reputation for not as being.....not as easy as I once was.

Russ: yeah well you have reasons now.

Lyka: uh-huh. Well, I'll do whatever she wants me to do. If she wants me to do the base, I'll do the base, I'll do whatever she wants.

Russ: well I'll be in line for that.

Lyka: oh really? Promises, promises. You'll have to ask her.

Russ: yeah, you wouldn't be very satisfied I don't think. I still have got a long ways to go on my astral projection until I'm as good as Mark.

Lyka: oh, oh yes. Yes that.

Russ: it would be like, "did you feel something dear? No, did you?"

Lyka: oh, it must be a stealth Russ.

Russ: it must be Russ coming through.

Lyka: that must be Russ on the stealth mode.

Russ: that's me.

Lyka: nobody knew that he was there. Got in and out.

Russ: a brush of wind go by?

Lyka: she certainly helped me to experiment.

Russ: well good, you probably need to experiment.

Lyka: yes.

Russ: I need to experiment.

Lyka: uh-huh.

Russ: I'll let you get off to your love.

Lyka: no, she's going to talk next.

Russ: oh she is?

Lyka: uh-huh.

Russ: I can see this is going to be a long conversation.

Lyka: could be, could not be. Thank you.

Russ: sweetheart, it's good to have you back.

Lyka: uh-huh.

Russ: I will talk you one more time before you go.

Lyka: no you won't.

Russ: no?

Lyka: not if what Tia is saying is correct.

Russ: oh okay.

Lyka: I leave on the second.

Russ: that's not two weeks is it? I guess it is two weeks.

Like a uh-huh.

Russ: oh.

Lyka: then I will be back June 1rst.

Russ: well we'll see you in June sweetheart.

Lyka: uh-huh. I do.......and then at the end of November, I go on to a two-month cycle.

Russ: oh, okay.

Lyka: uh-huh mainly because I've got some very intense studying that I have to do. So it'll be January, February I'll be there and then March, April I'll be here.

Russ: well that's a year away.

Lyka: uh-huh.

Russ: have fun darling, we'll see you next time.

Lyka: see you in June.

Russ: you got it.

(Tia returns to swap speakers)

Tia: (says hi in Durondedunn)

Russ: hi Tia.

Tia: okay, next speaker.

(Leah settles down to channel)

Leah: hey.

Russ: hey Alana.

Leah: Alana?

Russ: oh, I mean Leah.

Leah: Leah.

Russ: my brains thinking on my other bond mate.

Leah: ahh. Oh other bond mate huh?

Russ: uh-huh.

Leah: okay, what do you want to know?

Russ: well, kind of..........I don't know, what's up?

Leah: what's up?

Russ: what's up?

Leah: distractions, that's what's up.

Russ: that's what I figured.

Leah: uh-huh. Okay, what do you want to talk about?

Russ: well.....

Leah: my babe said that you wanted to ask some questions.

Russ: yeah, there was some engineering stuff I was working with her on but I don't think you can help me on it. She says you don't have the military expertise to be able to figure it out.

Leah: concerning?

Russ: her armor.

Leah: ahh, don't understand it.

Russ: ahh she said you wouldn't.

Leah: okay, what do you want to talk about?

Russ: well....

Leah: so what's this I hear about you having problems. Okay, you want to learn how to satisfy right?

Russ: yeah.

Leah: okay, they're all very sensory, I'm very sensory.

Russ: okay.

Leah: so you've got to go for sensory overload.

Russ: can you do that with your clothes on?

Leah: yes.

Russ: okay, how?

Leah: it's, touching in the right places.

Russ: okay.

Leah: what exactly do you want to know?

Russ: well, basically how to turn a girl on without getting her clothes off.

Leah: okay, well there's the ears.

Russ: uh-huh.

Leah: okay? There's the nose, the chin, the underside of the chin, the throat, the side of the neck, both sides. The spine, applying pressure in the right places of the spine can have some really devastating effects once we're aroused. But the spinal area, the spinal area has some very interesting functions, especially if you know where to apply the pressure. The base of the spine and the top of the spine near the top of the cranium. Tell you what, the best person to talk to would be Kiri. I've been, we've been experimenting with different pleasure zones, the sides of the armpits.

Russ: uh-huh.

Leah: anywhere where a person is ticklish. Now if for somebody walks around a lot of the time bare feet, their feet aren't as sensitive so you have to be a little bit more rougher with the feet. If they wear stockings and sneakers, their feet tend to be more supple, more receptive, more sensitive. Now one way to stimulate a sense is to deprive somebody of another sense.

Russ: hmm.

Leah: for example sight, blindfolding.

Russ: true.

Leah: uh-huh. You take away sight right?

Russ: uh-hmm.

Leah: and the senses go wild. Anticipation, teasing, for example let's say I'm blindfolded......no let me rephrase that, Lyka's blindfolded. I have her tied by the wrists right? And I'm talking to her, telling her all the things I'm going to do to her nice and slowly. Telling her I have the ice in my hand and it's something to watch physically not only the body and the changes in the color of the skin of the face and the shoulders but also the lips. How the lips change and swell tells you a lot.

Russ: really?

Leah: uh-huh. The lips will fill with blood. For example, Lyka's lips are normally quite flat and thin and she could do with smiling more. But when she's aroused, her lips are very full.

Russ: it's like an erection.

Leah: yeah. It happens to both men and women by the way.

Russ: hmmm.

Leah: okay?

Russ: okay.

Leah: coloring of the cheeks, there's the flush, the sexual flush that comes. The eyes, the pupils will get larger and larger. Let me see, what else? Warmth of the skin, because of the blood and the flush right? The skin gets warmer. These are all signs to watch for. The easiest one to tell is probably the eyes and the nipples. The others sometimes get missed, especially if they're wearing makeup.

Russ: right.

Leah: the lips are something that you don't notice until they are fully inflated with blood, fully engorged.

Russ: right, hmm.

Leah: so, what are the main things?

Russ: well you got the lips.

Leah: uh-huh.

Russ: you've got nipples, pupils......

Leah: uh-huh.

Russ: skin.

Leah: uh-huh. But what's the main tool to get there?

Russ: oh, senses.

Leah: senses. And I learned this all just very recently.

Russ: ahhh.

Leah: you know I missed so much by not being so sexually active?

Russ: yeah well, you've got a lot of room to catch up with.

Leah: oh, you're telling me. I owe my sister a lot.

(Huna: AKA The Bunny Monster)

Russ: uh-huh.

Leah: but when she was here last time when she was coaching, I learned a lot. The warmth of the skin is something that can be very, very telling, very telling.

Russ: gets hotter huh?

Leah: uh-huh, because the heart's beating faster. Another one is breath, the (breaths faster) That is something to listen for, rapid breathing. Because the heart rate elevates.......

Russ: okay.

Leah: you understand?

Russ: uh-huh. Breathing, skin temperature.....

Leah: uh-huh.

Russ: yeah.

Leah: and you can tell whether somebody likes you or not by their pupil reaction.

Russ: hmm.

Leah: yeah it's not only a sexual thing with the pupils, it's if you like somebody. Now with women there are certain other little tricks.

Russ: uh-huh.

Leah: and that is as she's talking to you she's twiddling her hair, she's making herself prettier for you.

Russ: ahhh.

Leah: she's sucking on her hair and playing with it as she's talking to you.

Russ: that's a good one.

Leah: uh-huh. Just subtle little body language things.

Russ: hmm.

Leah: okay, I'm done.

Russ: okay love, I'll have lots of chances to practice here.

Leah: good.

(Tia is back to pass the chat off to Kiri)

Tia: (says hi in Durondedunn)

Russ: hi Tia.

Tia: okay, last speaker.

Russ: okay.

(It's Kiri in to finish up the session)

Kiri: ah-hah?

Russ: ahhh, hello Kiri.

Kiri: yo.

Russ: how's it going?

Kiri: it's going good.

Russ: good. So can you enlighten me on this subject that Leah started us off on?

Kiri: she was giving away all the little secrets.

Russ: ahh that's good, she's supposed to.

Kiri: we women.....

Russ: what, you're trying to keep all the secrets or something?

Kiri: of course.........

(a pager goes off)

Kiri: pa
ger.

Russ: yeah, I know what it is.

Kiri: okay, as she was sitting there talking to you she was looking towards Lyka and she was twiddling her hair seriously and Lyka was twiddling her hair and running her fingers through her hair and doing this routine the whole entire time and looking at her with longing so we know what those two are off to do.

Russ: oh yeah no doubt.

Kiri: uh-huh. Okay, you're looking for tricks okay? She's covered quite a lot of stuff actually.

Russ: yeah she did.

Kiri: fidgetiness can have one of two meanings. If somebody's fidgety, it either means they want out of there right? Or, they want to be elsewhere. Okay, back to body language. Now if somebody's looking at somebody and totally has their attention right? And how they move, their movement. Okay you got two people talking right? Okay, they're talking right? Okay now what does this tell you? Watch the other hand.

(hold's her arm up with the palm facing outward)

Russ: that they are repulsed by the other person.

Kiri: well they're moving away, they don't find them attractive.

Russ: right.

Kiri: now what does that tell you?

(hold's her arm out with the palm facing inward)

Russ: more attractive.

Kiri: correct. How the person moves towards the other person, away or towards also is a good bit of body language especially between the sexes. How they.......when they're sitting. If they're sitting facing each other, the long looks, the pupil reaction. The pupils grow due to the fact of taking in more of the person.

Russ: hmm.

Kiri: okay odor, how the person smells. Notice the slightly different odor about the person.

Russ: hmm, that's a good one.

Kiri: uh-huh. Whether it is pleasant or not. Pleasant to you means that you're attracted to them. It doesn't mean whether or not they're attracted to you, it means that they are in a state of sexual arousal, that's all it means.

Russ: hmm.

Kiri: are their movements slow or quick? If they're slow, whilst they're talking to or looking at you as you're talking or they're talking means that you have their interest or you are interested in them. How they react. If they offer a drink to you from their hand, "here have a drink, have a bite to eat.", it is a gift from them to you, from their hand to your mouth.

Russ: hmm.

Kiri: if they sit there and they're talking to you and they're playing like the hair on the glass and they're looking at you. If they're looking down whilst they're doing it, means and not interested because they're not looking at you and they're sort of like, "ho-hum, what an asshole, wonder what he's talking about? Not listening." You see?

Russ: uh-huh.

Kiri: Leah had some very good points. She gave you lots of useful information, depending on how you use them, depends on what kind of person you are.

Russ: right.

Kiri: because basically they're tips on how to know the right partner. If you're interested in a person and they're reacting in a particular way right? Tells you whether or not they are interested in you.

Russ: right.

Kiri: tells you how they're reacting. Tells you whether or not you're going to get lucky. How you act on it.

Russ: well as a coercer, you probably you probably can see all these things easier too.

Kiri: oh yeah, I pick them up real easy. What has that cat got?

Russ: spider.

Kiri: could be dangerous.

Russ: oh no, they have pretty good defenses against that.

Kiri: oh, okay.

Russ: she ate it.

Kiri: did she eat it?

Russ: uh-huh. She's quite proud of that too I might add.

Kiri: eating spiders huh?

Russ: hey, every one running around here.
