SIDE ONE
(Tia gets side one
started)
Tia: I’m going to go and sit over
here.......yes?
Russ: okay, I’ll take the pyramid
then.
Tia: okay, you can sit in a nice
friendly…..hmmmm.
Russ: pull that cord a bit more.
John: hold on, hold on.
Tia: nice and friendly, nice and cozy.
Russ: okay.
Tia: okay, you got questions?
Russ: yeah.
Tia: uh-huh.
Russ: working on astral projection.
Tia: oh, as you were discussing with
Carrie in dream travel?
(one
of our former guests we were still contacting)
Russ: yeah, what is all that?
Tia: dream travel is what you do in
your dreams.
Russ: not according to Carrie I don’t
believe.
Tia: okay, what did Carrie say fully
because we weren’t…?
Russ: well she didn’t say anything
about how to do it.
Tia: uh-huh.
Russ: she just said she used to do it.
Tia: yeah.
Russ: well if it is in your dreams,
what do you do, program your dreams to go somewhere?
Tia: kind of, it’s a subconscious
programming.
Russ: well how do you do it?
Tia: I don’t, I astral travel.
Russ: how do you go into her dreams?
Tia: how do I go into her dreams?
Russ: uh-huh.
Tia: well I go in through the brain
waves that are given off.
Russ: so you astral travel over to her
bedroom....
Tia: uh-huh.
Russ:
and then you hook up with her brain waves?
Tia: uh-huh.
Russ: then what happens?
Tia: I alter the brain waves.
John: that’s a technique that was
recommended by me, that’s a technique I inquired
about because of using that technique as opposed to
a conventional….
Tia: yeah.
John: astral projection technique.....
Tia: uh-huh.
John: and for different people, it’s
viable, I mean I know it’s been done.
Tia: different strokes for different
folks or something like that. What you're doing is
you’re programming your sleep before you go right?
Russ: uh-huh.
Tia: you have an overwhelming urge to
be somewhere. It’s not as effective as going into a
trance-like state and then astral
traveling.
Russ: uh-huh, well I’m still working
on the trance-like state, that’s my other
question.
Tia: yeah, carry on working on it,
simple as that.
Russ: okay but the thing is, I’m still
working on conscious astral traveling.
Tia: uh-huh, it’s far better.
Russ: but I can’t quite get the trance
astral traveling down.
Tia: well carry on working on it, you
can use the techniques that you learn along the way
but as I’ve always said, experimentation. You seem
to be one of those stubborn individuals that won’t
let go of his physical body.
Russ: yeah well, that's how it works
sometimes.
Tia: well, healers are all the same.
Russ: and I’m always self-monitoring
my own systems.......
Tia: uh-huh.
Russ: and I can’t break free of that
monitoring system to let it go.
Tia: oh I understand, I understand.
Rome wasn’t burnt in a day.
Russ: hmm, so anyway, I’m working with
Karra right now on some various techniques.
Tia: I know, she’s got her eyes
closed, it’s normally a sign that she's in
communication with somebody. So did you like the
chicken for dinner tonight?
Russ: chicken of the sea? Quite
delicious.
Tia: uh-huh, that was my idea to say
that it was chicken.
Russ: what did you guys have for
dinner?
Tia: huh?
Russ: what’d you have for dinner?
Tia: steak.
Russ: hmm.
Tia: uh-huh.
Russ: yum.
Tia: yes.
Russ: sorry I missed it.
Tia: stop lying through your teeth.
(Ed. note: I don’t eat red meat)
Russ: oh no, I’m sorry I missed it, it
must have been delicious.
Tia: oh it was, I beat it for about
half an hour. I have a mallet for beating it,
tenderize it.
John: uh-huh, what kind of meat, what
kind of animal did it come from?
Tia: it came from kind of a deer-type
thing.
John: ahh, excellent.
Tia: uh-huh. Beat the living daylights
out of it and then quickly put it on a grill for 30
seconds each side and then served.
(Tia and the Cubs are Durondedunn and so are
descended from cats)
(John chuckles)
Tia: what’s so funny?
John: well you’re talking about a
really tenderized, very rare piece of meat.
Tia: uh-huh.
John: I didn't……well I just found it
amusing. We had fruits du mer tonight.
Tia: uh-huh, fruit of the sea.
John: yes, oh you do speak a little
French huh?
Tia: no, I just happen to have the
translation on the headset.
John: oh, why did you happen to have a
translation? It’s the first time it’s come up.
Tia: it’s communication.
John: oh.
Russ: no, Erica could be speaking in
Spanish and she would understand what she was
saying.
Tia: uh-huh.
Russ: might come in handy.
Tia: uh-huh. Depends if it’s on a wide
mode or if like when we use it on the computers it’s
on a narrow mode.
Russ: hmmm.
Tia: that is why Kiri the other night
when you were talking to her was having difficulty
talking to you working on the computer at the same
time.
(Kiri was working through Mark's body here on the
3rd dimension while he was on the Base)
Russ: she was on the I-mode?
Tia: uh-huh, she was focused. This is
on, the one I have on at the moment, has it on the
wide beam which means that I can hear the
dog out there going, “woof, woof” and if I was down
there I would jump over, gut it, skin it and
barbecue it.
John: got any good recipes for dog?
They might come in handy.
Tia: barbecued dog’s pretty good. You
marinate it first……
John: okay.
Tia: in a red vinaigrette……
John: okay.
Tia: with chian and…..looking for a
translation for that, can’t think of what it is.
It’s saying Rosemary up here but the picture it’s
projecting doesn’t quite jive. I suppose that’s
close enough.
John: okay.
Tia: uh-huh. Oh, chian is Rosemary,
what’s the other one? Let me have a look down
through there…..Parsley.
John: oh, interesting.
Tia: it’s kind of a Parsley, minty-type
thing.
John: all right.
Tia: uh-huh.
John: sounds like a good vinaigrette.
Tia: yeah very simple, very basic,
really tenderizes and takes away the earthy flavor
of the canine a little bit. And Kiri’s going…
(makes
a face)
Russ: I would too, sick producing
thought.
Tia: well it’s really nice if you
leave the skin on the head and leave the head
attached as well. Kind of….
John: sounds similar to what you do to
a roast pig.
Tia: yeah.
John: very similar.
Tia: yeah, put the head down flat and
stick I suppose you’d say a peach in its mouth?
John: oh, okay yeah, usually use an
apple.
Tia: ahhh, we prefer something nice
and soft.
John: oh okay.
Tia: uh-huh.
John: hmm and there’s other types of
animals I can use your recipe on.
Tia: yeah, all sorts of things. It’s a
real basic tenderizing purpose.
John: I’m just worried about missing
dogs in the neighborhood now, me running around with
my toolkit.
Tia: if you do, let me know and I’ll
help you.
(continuing
the joke)
Russ: yeah me and Kiri had a lot of
good discussions this evening. Who’s on tonight
anyway darling?
Tia: we have Omal, we have Karra, we
have Kiri and we have a nymphomaniac that is trying
to pick up on Kiri. She says she's going to leave in
a few minutes because she’s getting nowhere with
Kiri. I know why, I’m not telling.
Russ: Kiri’s that time of month?
Tia: shhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everybody heard that.
John: yeah, it’s a full moon.
Russ: oh yeah that’s right.
Tia: yes, it’s a full moon.
John: yeah.
Tia: uh-huh.
Russ: but it’s our moon you see.
Tia: uh-huh.
John: what’s that?
Russ: it’s our moon, it’s not Mar's
moon.
Tia: that’s right. We have two moons.
John: do they affect the female’s
menstrual period like our moon does here?
Tia: no, they don’t have the
gravitational mass to do that. Both of them equal
about a quarter of your moon.
John: is it a full moon for us
tonight?
Tia: I believe so.
John: I believe so too.
Tia: you’d have to ask the Celt, he
would know. (Mark)
John: yeah, I took a look at it, it
looked pretty full. Very intense first moon of
spring for us, very lovely now.
Tia: uh-huh. Yes it is, it’s just past
the equinox as well.
John: yes, yeah, yeah,
it’s
the first moon after the equinox.
Tia: uh-huh.
John: very intensely bright.
Tia: well it’s close to the Earth
I believe.
John: isn’t it at one of its closest
points to the Earth right now?
Tia: I believe so.
John: I believe so also.
Tia: uh-huh. I’m not going to do an
Omal and take you out there and go, “over there,
over there, over there.”
John: oh I know where it is, I was
checking it out, that’s why I was asking about it.
Tia: yeah but I’m poking fun at Omal
when he gave Russ a guided tour of……
John: oh the comet?
Tia: of the night sky. Oh it was a
long time ago.
John: oh, oh okay, a different
nighttime tour.
Tia: yeah, involving a camping trip……
John: oh okay.
Tia: and Omal being extra smart as
always.
John: well when we go camping, we'll
have a star chart printed out on Russ’ computer
before we go out.
Tia: uh-huh.
John: and that way we can check
everything out.
Tia: okay, I guess you don’t have any
more questions for me.
John: not right now, maybe later.
Tia: okay, now I lay my head down to
sleep.
(Karra comes on after Tia.)
Karra: hello.
Russ: good morning my love.
John: hello.
Karra: morning? Hello Johnny. Well
it’s morning somewhere on your planet.
Russ: this is true, this is true.
Karra: okay, hold on a second, I’m
going to take this thing off. It doesn’t work for
me.
Russ: the headset?
Karra: yeah. That’s better. Okay, now
then, injuries related to skiing.
John: ahh yeah, uh-huh,
I had one.
Karra: uh-huh, so I see. Yes,
you got it right
there and right on the side there looks like where
part of the damage is and you've got just up across
there…..hmmm.....well what I suggest is,
letting it grow strong to start off with, getting it
manipulated and getting the healing process going
which I believe according to Tia
who’s whispering in my ear, just as well I took
the the headset off, you’re
getting taken care of.
John: it is healing quickly.
Karra: uh-huh.
John: and I’m.....got an appointment
with a therapist on Thursday.
Karra: masseuse or….
John: massage yeah.
Karra: yeah.
John: massage therapy.
Karra: okay, uh-huh.
John: very reputable therapist.
Karra: okay so I won’t tamper with
anything.
Russ: what about physical therapy
Johnny?
John: I’m going to go to this massage
therapist first and then we’ll go from there.
Karra: uh-huh, I can give
you some exercises next week to do.
John: yeah, I’ll be ready to
do them next week.
Karra: okay that’s good. We’ll give
you some of those to do.
John: I’ve started doing some
exercises today and it has helped.
Karra: yeah, or they
will.
John: I was told to keep it mobile if
I wanted it to heal fast but not to overdo it and
that’s the only thing I’m worried about is
overextending myself at this point.
Karra: yeah if you feel pain you stop,
simple as that.
John: ah yeah, I figured that one out
real quick.
Karra: yeah.
John: but I finally got to the point
where I can stand up and walk.
Karra: uh-huh, oh that’s good.
John: and I’m making progress on a
daily basis and I do heal fast so…
Karra: uh-huh.
John: yeah, yeah it’s a good prognosis
on it I think.
Karra: uh-huh yes, it is a good
prognosis. Now what transpired when you had the
mishap?
John: it was so stupid, it was one of
those silly things. If I would had just been skiing,
it would have never happened.
Karra: yeah.
John: but I was skiing with some other
people and I was giving this girl some tips, skiing
tips, she was having a hard time…..
Karra: yeah.
John: and I was trying to build up her
confidence and I lost my concentration, got into the
pasty %&^$% on the edge……
Karra: oh yeah.
John: and my skis just froze up and I
twisted funny and in turn pulled the muscle that
connects my leg to my hip and that in turn has
affected my sciatic nerve and all the other muscles
in my leg.
Karra: yeah.
John: but it’s healing fast.
Karra: uh-huh.
John: and I expect to be back to work
next week.
Karra: oh that’s good.
John: I’ll be going in on the Cat,
I’ll be well enough to work but not well enough to
ski. And I assured ski patrol that I wouldn’t ski
until I was ready.
Karra: I have a question from Tia,
you
have cats that you can ride?
John: oh it’s an expression, it’s a
snow cat and it’s a vehicle that we use at the ski
resorts.
Karra: ohhh.
John: and that is an option if you’re
like me, unable to ski to work and you want to work,
you can catch the Cat. That’s what we
call it, it’s a name, catch
the Cat in the morning.
Karra: is it an abbreviation of
something?
John: yeah, for Caterpillar actually.
Karra: ahh, Caterpillar okay.
John: yeah and that describes kind
of……are you familiar with caterpillars, the insects?
Karra: yes.
John: well these machines are what are
named after the insect and then for
short we call them Cats.
Karra: yeah I’m just projecting a
picture at Tia of a caterpillar and she is in
hysterics.
John: well it’s made for going up
steep slopes covered with snow and they use them
for other things too.
Karra: yeah, I believe they use them
for grooming.
John: yeah they use them for grooming,
they use them for skinning logs, all different types
of things.
Karra: oh yes, there seems to be a lot
of possibilities for them. Uh-huh so, healing
questions?
Russ: now how weak will be Johnny’s
knee from now on? Is it a permanent weakness that he
will always have to pay attention to or is...?
Karra: it depends on how well the
recovery process is done. By doing the correct
exercising it after it’s healed you can build up the
strength and even make it stronger than it once was
but
it is a continuing process that once you start the
strengthening process, you have to continue and if
you want to stop you have to taper off slowly.
John: well actually it has nothing to
do with my knee, my knee's fine, I was
checked out.
Karra: yeah, it’s the whole entire
leg. When you’re building up the muscles and
everything, if you stop cold, what happens is that
they’re no longer used as much as they should be and
it turns to what you might say flab?
John: yeah, yeah.
Karra: so you have to taper off slowly
back down so that……
John: now so should I take calcium for
the inflammation?
Karra: yes.
John: and what else would you
recommend? Vitamin C, calcium, what else?
Karra: calcium, vitamin C, probably
some vitamin A, you might also want……
John: what do you think about just
using a multiple vitamin and supplementing it with
calcium and vitamin C? Would that be adequate?
Karra: what you could probably do is
go with a multi-formula milk and orange juice. A
little bit more expensive but if that’s the way you
want to go, you’d be getting much
higher concentrations in the blood system instead of
popping 1,000 or 500 milligrams.......
John: milligrams yeah.
Karra: yeah. Because the body will
only absorb so much but by drinking the milk formula
and thank you Russ…..also another
name for it leche, it will give
you a higher yield and do more for the body just in
concentrating on the calcium building up and
strengthening the bones…...
John: I’m not a big milk drinker, it’s
not one of my favorite beverages.
Karra: well you can always go for the
oral tablet form.
John: yeah I think I’m going to go
that route.
Russ: I have some in the cupboard in
there.
Karra: or you can go for the other
option, you can always take a shot in the sit upon.
John: what’s this?
Karra: you could always have a shot of
multivitamins in the high concentration in
the sit upon but you won’t be able to sit down for a
little while.
Russ: injectable
multivitamins.
Karra: on the tush.
Russ: doctors
can do that.
John: oh yeah, yeah, I don’t think I
want to go that route, that’s not necessary. I don’t
think so.
Karra: well it would make things feel
very comfortable for sitting down.
Russ: uh-huh.
Karra: you’ll have to excuse my little
bit of cynicism and humor.
Russ: hmm now the self-healing
properties of the human body is obviously demonstratable
but I mean they weaken as I remember as you get
older.
Karra: yes.
Russ: now how do you maintain their……
Karra: by physical exercise and by
staying healthy, keeping a nutritional level in a
good balance, being active, those are the main
things. Being active, eating well and not doing
anything that is harmful but I can’t think of
anybody on your planet that doesn’t do one thing
that is harmful.
Russ: hmmm, breathe?
Karra: depends where you live.
John: what about using ice on this
stage of this healing process? I was told to use ice
immediately and I ran into a little problem with
ice.
Karra: well there’s lots of ice
around.
John: oh yeah, yeah but……
Karra: oh, getting to it.
John: I just couldn’t get to it.
Karra: yeah.
John: couldn’t seem to get anyone to
buy any or make any so I ended up making some today.
Karra: oh that’s good.
John: but I’m going to be using ice
packs.
Karra: yeah, uh-huh.
John: and….
Karra: you need to retrieve those as
well, that’s your department Russ.
John: yeah.
Russ: retrieve what?
John: oh those ice packs from David’s,
they'd be perfect for this injury.
Karra: uh-huh.
Russ: alright, so anyway darlin’, on
to other matters.
Karra: yeah okay.
Russ: okay about what you and I have
been working on all day.
Karra: uh-huh.
Russ: the mental controls?
Karra: yes, for the benefit of the
recording device and posterity and prostate, please
explain.
Russ: alright yeah, Karra and I have
been working on a meditation technique for both
during astral travel and for waking periods for
calming technique of....it's called two into one.
Which normally I’d go like a mantra, sort of like
one, two, three, four?
Karra: uh-huh.
Russ: and I'm going more like a two
into one.
Karra: yeah.
Russ: which is a little bit more
deeper because of you think of me and you merging as
one.
Karra: that’s right, me and you, two
in one, one in two, me and you, you in one, me and you,
one in two.
Russ: right.
Karra: put it in that way, it sounds
easier.
Russ: okay. Okay, now since we’re on
the subject…
Karra: uh-huh.
Russ: where do we take it from there
then?
Karra: slowly, we have to set up the
pathways that become habit and that is the first
step as in your discussion earlier on, the fact that
Mark has many, many more years experience then you
do…
Russ: uh-huh.
Karra: whilst you were still chasing
around being 12 years old having fun, Mark was
learning how to astral travel correct?
Russ: right. Okay, so anyway…..
Karra: uh-huh.
Russ: now then, so since I'm starting
out on this then and we’re
going to work on it slowly.....
Karra: uh-huh.
Russ: the two into one which
should be used as a connecting point between
you and I?
Karra: yes.
Russ: okay. So it’s sort of like a
key.
Karra: uh-huh.
Russ: all right. Now one thing I
noticed is that I can never hook into
what you’re thinking or what you’re doing I should
say.
Karra: uh-huh.
Russ: like a vision of what you’re
doing sort of like that yet you can hook into me.
Karra: uh-huh.
Russ: just a difference in the
dimensions, is that what the problem is?
Karra: partly and heightened
awareness. You have to remember, I do have a lot
more time on my hands then you do. I mean experience
time wise.
Russ: right, yeah.
Karra: here’s a trick to do that.
Russ: okay.
Karra: okay, clear your mind.
Russ: uh-huh.
Karra: clear your mind.
Russ: I'm working on it,
hold on a second, I’m not as fast yet.
Okay.
Karra: Okay, let’s try again. Okay now,
concentrate……..visualize me. Okay now, think on
where I am......hmm, it
will take a bit of practice I think.
Russ: okay.
Karra: that was very hazy.
Russ: well still it's a work out.
Karra: and besides, my outfit isn’t
that color.
Russ: well I’m using my imagination
too….
Karra: yeah I know.
Russ: to get to that point so....
Karra: I know.
Russ: all right so I'll start
practicing on that.
Karra: uh-huh.
Russ: okay.
Karra: yeah, you should be able to do
it very carefully and very quickly.
Russ: okay so it’s pretty much the
same thing we’re talking about for the last few
weeks about the merging process.
Karra: yeah, uh-huh.
Russ: coolicious.
Karra: yeah. Okay, any more questions?
Russ: uh-uh.
Karra: okay.
Russ: I'll just
keep working.
John: not right now.
Karra: okay, I suppose I……..I could
sit here and chat for a few whilst I......do
my nails.
Russ: what are the other girls doing
right now?
Karra: well Kiri is looking rather
strangely at Tia and Tia is bending over touching
her toes.
John: okay. (chuckles)
Russ: I had to ask.
Karra: you asked.
John: all right.
Karra: okay,
I’ll see you guys later.
Russ: bye Karra.
Karra: bye and good work so far
Johnny.
John: ahh thank you.
Karra: keep it up.
John: yes.
(Tia finishes up side one)
Tia: yes?
Russ: hi Tia.
Tia: yo.
John: hello.
Tia: hello, what?
That expression on your face Russ.
Russ: oh no, I was just reminding
myself that it's nice to have the night off for a
change and I’m wondering about doing too
much work is not helpful.
Tia: oh, I thought you might be
thinking about my calisthenics.
Russ: oh no, no, no, no,
I assume that you had a great reason for that.
Tia: uh-huh, actually I was teasing
Kiri.
Russ: hmm.
Tia: uh-huh.
Russ: going on a mental
picture there yeah, cool.
Tia: uh-huh, okay.
Russ: so how’s our stock market doing?
I haven't been following along.
Tia: it’s climbing at the moment,
one
day it’s been slow, the next day it’s climbing
quickly and so on but I’m more interested…..
Russ: uh-huh.
Tia: in what is going on with this Dole
thingy.
Russ: Dole thingy?
John: yeah, he’s running for
president.
Tia: uh-huh but I wouldn’t say that
it’s over and done yet, things
might surprise you but there again they might not.
But I was trying to figure out why people like Dole.
I mean, maybe it’s because they like a mean old man
to look after their money.
John: well he’s got a lot of
experience in the Senate.
Tia: uh-huh.
John: a lot of our population is
Republican.
Tia: uh-huh.
John: and he's a good speaker.
Tia: uh-huh.
John: you know?
Tia: he's eloquent and so on,
yeah.
John: yeah, yeah.
Tia: and I was also trying to figure
out you know why Mr.
Gingrich has a fascination
with zoo animals.
John: I have no idea, that’s between
him and the animals.
Tia: yeah, and also why he got upset
about Air Force One and then I figured it out you
know.
Russ: hmm?
Tia: the press, they’re like a bunch
of zoo animals, aren’t they?
John: sure.
Tia: and his fascination with zoo
animals and when he was on Air Force One, they
wouldn’t let him get off the front of the plane with
all the press reporters which he looks upon as zoo
animals, there you have it
you see.
Russ: so he didn’t want to get off at
the front of the plane?
Tia: no, he wanted to, that’s
why he was upset because he couldn’t get
to see the zoo.
Russ: you think of this stuff all by
yourself you have like a computer help you out with
it?
Tia: I think of it all myself,
I’ve got a whole list of things, half of them
wouldn't amuse you because it loses something in the
translation.
Russ: well that's funny though,
sounds
like you’re all of a sudden you're downing
Dole for a change?
Tia: did I say I was downing Dole?
Russ: well you said why would people
be interested in voting for him or....
John: I think the key to this
election, and it’s going to be pretty much the way
it has been for years, Democrats and Republicans.
The
smaller Independents and stuff aren’t
going to have much of an impact either way but
Dole’s running mate for vice president I think it’s
going to be the critical key, especially with his
age.
Tia: uh-huh.
John: when you have a president with
the political experience that he’s got, the vice
president and with him being old….
Tia: is going to play quite a role.
John: is going to be a very important
role.
Tia: yeah.
John: and I do believe that will be
the determining factor.
Tia: well the thing that interests me
is Buchanan
right?
John: yeah.
Tia: and his comment that he made
recently about, “there are no places for racists or
bigots in his campaign organization,
all
those spots were filled long ago.”
Russ: he said that? Oh, you’re joking.
Tia: I’m joking.
Russ: you’re joking,
that's
what I thought.
John: yeah there’s only a small
percentage of people that follow Buchanan.
Tia: uh-huh. Hey, I was making a
funny.
John: he’d never make it.
Russ: well the thing is is like,
nobody likes change.
Tia: uh-huh.
Russ: especially dramatic change and
Dole represents that.
Tia: uh-huh.
Russ: and with Clinton, you’ve got a
set package. You’ve got a known factor with Clinton,
you’ve a known factor with his vice president, Al
Gore.
Tia: oh, the medical assistant.
Russ: yeah right.
John: yeah, Gore
Tia: yeah, Al Gore…..”Greetings
master.”
Russ: so…
Tia: sorry.
John: personally, I like Al Gore, I
like what he stands for, he’s
done a lot for the environment.
Tia: he’s done a lot for the medical
profession as well.
John: and I don’t know anything about
that.
Tia: sorry…….
Russ: it's a joke.
John: yeah, it’s a joke. I thought it
was a joke, I wasn’t sure.
Tia: sorry, I’m in one of those moods.
Russ: okay, well that’s all I had
darling.
Tia: is that all you have?
Russ: for now.
Tia: oh, the tape
should almost be ready to be turned over actually.
Russ: it’s got a minute.
John: yeah, it’s got a few minutes on
it left.
Tia: yeah, we’ll use up this side
before we put Omal on because you know how much Omal
hates having to repeat himself.
John: yeah, be interrupted? Yeah…..
Tia: uh-huh, he does that pretty good
actually.
John: how about elsewhere around the
planet?
Tia: okay, let me
see...
John: let’s
concentrate on some of the hotspots.
Russ: how about Chechnya?
Tia: Chechnya, there’s a promise of
peace there temporarily however……
Russ: it’s only to help
out Yeltsin’s campaign though.
Tia: yeah, that’s what I mean,
temporarily. However there is something I am very
interested in at the moment....
Russ: what's that?
Tia: it’s taking
place in Montana.
Russ: oh, the Montana
militia.
John: The
Freeman.
Tia: exactly.
John: very powerful group.
Tia: uh-huh and remember what I said a
while back.
Russ: yeah but there is only 10 of
them though.
Tia: there’s only 10 of them there.
Russ: 10 of them there.
John: yeah right, 10 of them.
Tia: but my estimate is that there is
probably somewhere between six to a
1,000, what’s that? That’s a regiment to battalion
size?
John: uh-huh.
Tia: that’s quite a lot of people and
they're heavily armed. Yes but actually,
that is something to watch. Now getting back to
Chechnya…..
John: yeah.
Tia: there will be a lull however, the
other concern that I have is Bosnia......
John: uh-huh.
Tia: and the possibility of a nervous
population due to war crimes.
Russ: you mean the dug up graves
they’re going through?
Tia: uh-huh. Remember what I said back
before the start of winter about that?
Russ: not really.
Tia: vaguely.
Russ: vaguely, no not even vaguely,
not at all.
Tia: nevermind, nevermind,
we’ll
go
over that again at a later time. Yeah, I
suppose now is just as good a time as any, thank you
very much Kiri. Okay, what’s been going on?
Let
me see. Well, with the spring melt going on there,
things are becoming accessible but the problem that
they’re going to have with some of the graves is,
are they just mass graves because of lots of people
dying of various malnutrition's,
battle damage and so on which they will be able to
differentiate between?
Russ: yeah but you’re looking at 6,000
Muslims who were all shot getting away from
Srebrenica.
Tia: yeah but the question is, were
they shot…...were some of them combat soldiers and
were some of them civilians? It depends on what
state the clothes are in and how
preserved the bodies are. You have to remember that
the area is a very harsh climate.
John: well wouldn't the cold
preserve them?
Tia: yes to a certain extent but by
preserving them, are they a year old, two years or
three years?
Russ: well I suppose.
Tia: so it’s going to be very hard.
Now the question is, who was responsible for giving
the
orders?
Russ: hmmm.
Tia: are the people that pulled the
trigger responsible or are the people that gave the
orders responsible? You have to excuse me butchering
the English language.
Russ: well that’s all right love. Well
what relevance does this play in the world affairs?
Tia: well, okay so they find that
there is a lot of genocide being practiced in that
area.
Russ: right.
Tia: so, somebody says, “well, we have
to stay longer” which breaks a promise of a year
only. Now if they pull out on time or say that
they’re going to pull out on time, then the other
peacekeepers may decide that they’re going to pull
out at the same time as well and the whole entire
peace initiative goes…..PFTTT.
Russ: hmm.
Tia: okay
secondly, IRA, it’s a very good investment.
Russ: oh sure, if you have
the
money for it.
Tia: actually in seriousness, the IRA.
Okay, do you know what this year is in fact next
week is?
Russ: year anniversary of the peace
accord?
Tia: no, it’s the 80th anniversary of
the current situation, the
uprising of 1916, Easter 1916. Could be
significant.
Russ: hmm.
Tia: there
are a few that are still alive that remember it.
It’s going to be a very strong and emotional time
for them so therefore it could be quite
harmful for them.
Russ: hmm, well yeah but they go
through this every 10 years, what
happens every 10 years?
Tia: hmm, there is an increase but
this is a big one.
Russ: because there is peace right
now.
Tia: yeah and also the fact that there
are fewer and fewer people that remember the
uprising left alive.
Russ: right, see
I don’t even know anything about the
uprising.
Tia: in 1916?
Russ: never heard of it. This is the
first time I’ve been told about it.
Tia: oh really?
Russ: yeah.
Tia: ask Mark about it.
Russ: I figured it had been going on
for hundreds of years.
Tia: oh it has. I said the current
situation.
Russ: well what happened?
Tia: well basically a whole load of
anti-imperialistic people rose up against the
British government. The British government put it
down and were very harsh and cruel about it. Several
regiments of troops were sent which couldn’t be
spared at the time because what was going on?
Russ: 1916 was World War
One.
Tia: that’s right and
also it caused a lot of bad…
SIDE
ONE ENDS
|
SIDE TWO
(Tia quickly wraps up what she was
saying)
Tia: you see, the IRA in situations of
war will as a rule back off when the common good is
threatened.
Russ: right.
Tia: for example, during the second World
War, it was seen that Hitler could use Ireland as a
backdoor to get in because of the feeling of
distrust between Great Britain and Ireland.
Russ: right.
Tia: never happened. Some Irish POW's
were approached by Gestapo, SS and propaganda people
to come and help. The majority of them said no, one
or two did and were very clever about it, used it as
a way of getting information out by prearranged
codes to the rest the world.
Russ: oh, I didn’t know that.
Tia: uh-huh and a few were actually
serious about betraying their country. Okay…..
Russ: hmm, thank you, very interesting
lessons.
Tia: uh-huh. Well when you do research
on the past, present and future predictions, you
have to do a lot of research on the past.
Russ: true, hmmm.
(Omal comes on for his section of
the session)
Omal: greetings and felicitations.
John: greetings.
Russ: greetings Omal.
Omal: okay, let us continue. I believe
gentlemen, you have both done your five press ups.
Russ: oh yeah.
John: oh yeah, we both did them.
Omal: uh-huh.
John: Mark was a witness.
Omal: okay.
Russ: yeah no slacking off on my part
this time.
John: yeah.
Omal: otherwise you know what the
price would be.
John: and I can’t do push-ups this
week so I’m not going to ask no goofy questions.
Omal: okay and I think I trapped both
of you very well.
Russ: yes, I have to agree and that
was.....
John: but it was worth it for the
information we got.
Russ: yes.
John: it was worth it for me.
Omal: but it was part of the learning
process and what did we learn from that?
Russ: not to ask any more questions.
John: when you say it's time for the
last question, to ask one last question.
Omal: that is correct. I will
sometimes occasionally bend the rules slightly but
that is normally for a good and just cause.
Russ: true.
Omal: okay, now serious, questions.
Russ: okay, working with crystals.
Omal: uh-huh.
Russ: we’ve talked about how crystals
are able to amplify the body’s energy field…..
Omal: uh-huh.
Russ: and you're able to use that to
the effect of either using it as a focusing
tool.....
Omal: uh-huh.
Russ: or as a place to store
information.
Omal: uh-huh or a place to expel
energy from.
Russ: right, to draw energy.
Omal: no, expel energy, laser.
Russ: oh yeah, okay alright so you
store and expel right?
Omal: correct.
Russ: okay. Now, what other purposes
can we be looking for in the way of using of
crystals?
Omal: well one is, for the obvious
purpose of looking nice. The second possibility is
for protection. The third possibility is for access
to information, not just storing, but access. The
fourth possibility of usage is for experimentation.
The sixth one is for lighting, the reflective
abilities of crystals.
John: how about healing?
Omal: yes healing, that is number
seven. Number eight is using for decoration. Nine is
for the potential as a……I suppose that would come
under number two. Okay, is that enough for the time
being?
Russ: that’s enough for the time being
to work with.
Omal: okay.
Russ: okay, let’s start working with
first off protection.
Omal: protection.
Russ: and a more definitive…..
Omal: yes, laser, firing pulses of
energy.
Russ: okay now in theory it sounds all
good but in actual practice, what is the basic
principle, what is the basic effect?
Omal: it is as used in a
meta-concert..........one crystal, energy crystal as
it happens.
Russ: right.
Omal: fully charged I believe.
Russ: it is.
Omal: which is unusual for Mark. Like
one of your "Star Trekian" devices, laser, aim,
expel energy.
Russ: and to what purpose? What is the
effect that you get?
Omal: defense.
Russ: okay what is……I mean, what is
the effect on the person that you expelling energy
on? How does it affect their energy patterns?
Omal: it disrupts their energy
pattern. It can either be used in a firing motion or
a sucking motion to collect their energy to weaken
them.
Russ: does it matter what kind of
crystal you use for that?
Omal: yes it does actually, laser
crystal is always handy for that. Energy crystal is
good if it is charged low to suck the energy with or
if it is fully charged to disrupt but not to cause
damage. A laser crystal will cause damage, a little
bit of burning maybe, heating of the skin.
Russ: now with the energy crystal
fully charged, let’s say you use it to disrupt the
energy and then suck it back in.
Omal: uh-huh no, you can’t do that,
you cannot suck in energy once it’s been used.
Russ: oh okay. All right and now what
is the purposes on the laser crystal is only for in
self-defense?
Omal: yes.
Russ: okay.
Omal: crystals are used as a rule in
self-defense, even in an offensive mode, it is
self-defense.
Russ: right.
Omal: say this is a laser crystal,
somebody is attacking you, what are you using it
for? To defend yourself with, even though you are
now by using it in attacking them, it is still a
defensive maneuver.
Russ: uh-huh. Now the question I have
is, how can you practice using this without actually
causing any harm?
Omal: you select an inanimate object.
How do you learn to hit a target without shooting
somebody?
Russ: I didn’t realize that but I mean
when you want to see that there is an effect that
you were…..
Omal: trust me, there is an effect.
Russ: I’ll trust you.
John: yeah I found a crystal a lady
friend gave to me some time ago, can you look at
this through Mark? I’m using it for healing
purposes, it’s amethyst.
Omal: uh-huh, of course a healing
crystal. You might want to put it out in
the moonlight tonight.
John: oh okay.
Omal: it has been used a lot at the
moment and therefore is low.
John: oh okay, do I have to do
anything else?
Omal: that should suffice at this
time.
John: all right, thank you.
Omal: once you have healed, you might
want to cleanse it.
John: okay.
Omal: uh-huh and then recharge it on
the next available full moon.
John: okay.
Omal: you might through the cycle
of…..it is, your leg is healed, you put it out, you
cleanse it and the following night is a full moon.
That might be the best way to go so that would give
you approximately…
John: one month.
Omal: 29 days.
John: yeah, yeah well that’s
approximately one month.
Omal: correct.
John: okay, thank you.
Omal: next question.
Russ: Johnny?
John: I wasn’t expecting to ask a
bunch of crystals on account.....
Omal: is deep in thought.
John: got anything? I'm kind of
refocusing.....
Russ: yeah okay, you mentioned
lighting purposes. Now this is putting the crystal
in front a lightbulb or something?
Omal: or sitting it on top of a
lightbulb in a stand.
Russ: like the one I’ve got over
there?
Omal: correct, it looks nice.
Russ: and it diffuses the light?
Omal: correct.
Russ: okay. Because for some reason
I’m thinking that we could use it for, I don’t know,
that doesn't work.
Omal: illuminating the source being
amplified like a strip light?
Russ: yeah.
Omal: not yet, you do not possess the
ability or the gift to do so.
Russ: uh-huh.
Omal: occasionally Mark will make
crystals glow but I believe that drains him quite
dramatically.
Russ: right, hmm. Now what causes the
crystals to glow? Is this the same force that when
you strike crystals with a rock or what they used to
do.....like the Indians used to do, bang on crystals
to create the spark within?
Omal: yes.
Russ: now to getting them glowing, is
that then the energy that’s being expended into them
creates a electromagnetic
charge?
Omal: psychokinetic charge.
Russ: ahh, and they respond to that?
Omal: correct.
Russ: okay, now what about in the way
of electromagnetic charges?
Omal: electromagnetic charges do not
work as efficiently and as soon as the source is
removed, they automatically switch off like that.
Psychokinetic charges will fade away slower.
Russ: okay, I was just thinking
electromagnetic can be maintained through mechanical
means indefinitely.
Omal: uh-huh.
Russ: as long as you keep a power
supply on.
Omal: yes but it requires a much
higher level of power due to the fact that it is an
artificial source whereas a natural source will not
require as much.
Russ: okay.
Omal: because it is a higher level of
energy.
Russ: what happens to the energy
levels of crystals when you apply that
electromagnetic charge?
Omal: it is drained.
Russ: the crystal's drained?
Omal: yes.
Russ: oh, that wouldn't work then.
Well Johnny, I’m hogging all the questions, go ahead
there buddy.
John: these channeling crystals….
Omal: uh-huh.
John: that I got. Should I set those
in the moonlight tonight also?
Omal: yes, that would be handy.
John: okay, and how long should I put
all these crystals in the moonlight?
Omal: all night.
John: all night?
Omal: all night.
John: and then retrieve them in the
morning?
Omal: correct.
John: okay.
Russ: hmmm.
John: and we do have the power being
third dimensional vehicles to illuminate crystals
with our minds.
Omal: yes you do, it just requires a
lot of patience to practice how to do it and how to
do it repeatedly.
John: but it is something, it is
within our grasp to master this?
Omal: yes it is.
John: is it useful?
Omal: if you have lack of lighting it
may be useful.
Russ: what about for training your
mind for just a singular purpose?
Omal: for a singular purpose? It can
be useful for that however focusing on such a narrow
field may be construed by some to be a waste. By
others, it may be a necessary learning tool. It is
hard to say whether it would benefit everybody or
just a select few individuals, that is up to the
individuals.
Russ: oh.
John: can you use meta-concert……
Omal: yes.
John: to illuminate a crystal?
Omal: yes.
John: so would you recommend doing it
through meta-concert first before you try it
individually?
Omal: once you have constructed a
successful meta-concert on a regular basis, then it
would be useful to advance to that level of
training. It takes a higher amount of energy to
illuminate a crystal then you would actually
realize.
John: well yeah, I can imagine.
Omal: having illuminated a crystal
fully, it will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes
for it to go back to a normal illumination level.
Russ: hmm, how does this change the
crystal structurally? Anything at all?
Omal: nothing at all.
Russ: okay, doesn’t make it any
clearer or anything like that?
Omal: no.
Russ: hmm, okay. Now Kiri and I were
discussing patience the other night.
Omal: ahhh, I was waiting for this.
Russ: and you, your name happened to
come up during the conversation.
Omal: uh-huh, so I hear.
Russ: and it was mentioned that you
practice patience in the form of that you take one
day as if it was a 100 years.
Omal: uh-huh.
Russ: you have that kind of patience.
Omal: yes.
Russ: and because of that, you’re able
to take the knowledge and the patience and combine
them for wisdom.
Omal: uh-huh, I have learn’t over the
years to cherish each second for what it is because
remember, that second will never come back so
it is a prized and precious jewel which is to be
shared, enjoyed and relished. Holding it to oneself
is a negative, sharing it is a positive.
Russ: hmmm, okay. So from one who is
trying to learn wisdom to one who has already
learned wisdom……
Omal: I do not have wisdom.
Russ: you do not? Oh, Kiri called you
very wise.
Omal: she is being very flattering.
Russ: ahh. So, Sananda and Ashtar have
wisdom.
Omal: correct, in my opinion they do
so.
Russ: well how can we as third dimensional
beings being shooting for goals that have been
reached by Ashtar and Sananda and not by you?
Omal: umm, it is a tricky situation,
tricky to explain. Kiri in her perception is correct
on me but in my perception, I am not
wise.
John: are you becoming wiser?
Omal: I wish to be wiser.
John: you wish to be wiser.
Omal: whether or not I will achieve it
is up to me but by the perception that Kiri has is
that I am wise. To her maybe I am wise but to myself
I do not see myself as wise. Ashtar and Sananda most
certainly are wise by my…..
Russ: would they call themselves wise?
Omal: I cannot speak for them.
Russ: I know but I’m thinking, is
wisdom a personal perception then?
Omal: no, I think it’s more an
external perception, how others perceive you.
Russ: many people see me as wise and I
certainly don’t see myself as wise.....
Omal: uh-huh.
Russ: but yet I’m always called very
intelligent, very wise. Now that’s knowledgeable
maybe is the confusion there.
Omal: I think so yes, also I think it
is a perception that people have of you, whether or
not you are wise. Myself personally, I do not see
myself as being wise. The fact that Kiri
said that I am wise, I am very flattered that she
thinks so but then I must deny it unfortunately and
Kiri is going…….
John: well since Kiri gave you a nice
complement, I’d like to pass one on to Russ and he
is definitely a wise ass.
(laughter breaks out)
Omal: that is another useful
terminology.
John: ahh don’t you think my words
were quite correct for our friend here?
Omal: I would not like to speculate on
whether or not he is a wise ass or a wise fool.
John: well, yeah we’ll leave that up
to…….
Russ: I’ll take wisdom anyway I can
get it okay guys?
Omal: okay, last question Russ?
Russ: okay, in dealing with future and
the preparations therefore.......
Omal: ahhh, I’ve been expecting this
question.
Russ: yes. Is it something we will
feel regretful that we did not take the time and
effort and money to stock up on certain things
instead of going to more frivolous matters?
Omal: let me ask you a question, what
is frivolous? Do not answer that question.
Russ: okay.
Omal: I will elaborate. Is friendship
frivolous? Is something that will never happen again
frivolous? Is preparing for something frivolous? Is
getting ready for trouble frivolous? I cannot answer
the question for you, I cannot guide you, that you
must decide for yourself. But is
friendship frivolous, is preparation
frivolous? Johnny, last question.
John: well with the preparations
ahead, I don’t think anything you can do is going to
be frivolous but there’s a lot of third dimensional
people who just totally disagree with the whole
concept that.....and what we're preparing for.....
Omal: uh-huh.
John: and I don’t know, it seems like
I have been planning my whole life for this so I
don’t know, I’m just going to keep on preparing. Do
you think that would be wise?
Omal: yes, but it is hard to define
the correct procedure for the preparation. What may
work for one person may not work for another. Some
people may be overly prepared which is in itself is
an impossibility and some people may be not prepared
enough. The correct answer is within you, within
both of you and everyone. Thank you very much, have
an enjoyable evening and I am hustling due to the
fact that I do not want to have to dish out five
press ups as a punishment. Live long, prosper and
I’ll be back.
Russ: farewell.
John: goodbye.
(Tia comes back with a heavy sigh)
Tia: (sighs)
Russ: hi Tia.
John: hello.
Tia: hello, hello, hello, hello,
hello. Okay, last person.
Russ: okay.
(Kiri gives us the
pleasure of her company and
wisdom)
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: hi Kiri.
Kiri: yo.
John: hello.
Kiri: hello, greetings.
Russ: good evening my dear, how are
you?
Kiri: I’m doing fine, and you?
Russ: I’m doing good.
Kiri: uh-huh, he is wise.
Russ: I agree......
John: who, Omal? Yeah.
Russ: I personally
feel so too but.....
Kiri:
yes.
John: yeah.
Russ: he says it’s an external
perception.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: and if we all three agree that
he’s wise, is he wise?
John: yeah.
Russ: there’s only three of us, I mean
then how much does it take to make a majority to
make a person wise? I don’t know.
Kiri: I think the true wise man does
not admit that he is wise.
John: right, exactly. Yeah, I can
understand that and what do you think about Russ
being a wise ass?
Russ: I don’t agree that I am wise so
therefore I must be doing something right here
right?
Kiri: I’m not getting involved in it.
John: okay yeah, I don’t want to put
you in a precarious situation.
Kiri: uh-huh. Okay, so where were we?
Uh-huh?
Russ: oh I wanted to discuss with you
what we were discussing about the other night.
Kiri: okay, what we were discussing on
Saturday night, wise men is the perception I think.
Russ: okay.
Kiri: does that answer your question?
Russ: yeah but at the same time.
Kiri: it leaves it open to further
discussion.
Russ: yeah it does but that’s why I
want to get into the discussion part of it. For
example, we first discussed off the acquiring of
knowledge…..
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: and then adding to that
patience.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: okay now, with the acquiring of
knowledge, what establishes knowledge? I mean, I can
look at baseball scores and memorize who’s on what
teams and I call that knowledge.
Kiri: yes that is knowledge but
knowledge is such a broad term that it definitely
needs a definition on what constitutes real
knowledge……I think a better way to
elaborate would be, useful knowledge......
Russ: okay.
Kiri: not trivia.
John: is there such a thing as
universal knowledge?
Kiri: that would cover everything such
as trivia, useful knowledge, obsolete knowledge and
so on. I think it should be split into categories of
trivia knowledge, useful knowledge, ancient
knowledge, working knowledge, in fact I could
sit down all night and break it down into so
many subcategories that it would be ridiculous. But
definitely the most important one in my opinion is
working knowledge. Knowledge of vast quantities of
information that can be used in a positive way, not
just in a narrow field but can be applied to other
things other than its own original purpose. For
example, you can apply baseball information to only
baseball, it doesn’t translate into anything else.
Russ: right.
Kiri: however, engineering knowledge
translates into a myriad of different possibilities.
By being able to understand, theorize and establish
a premise, that is much more useful than to be able
to cite that in 1932 that Ruth hit 60 home
runs or was that 27? I don’t know.
(Ed. note: it was 41 including the famous
shot he called in the world series)
Russ: right.
Kiri: but what purpose does that
serve? That serves nothing but being
able to sit down and say that in 1938, a gentleman
by the name of Whitley produced the first fully
functional jet engine that worked efficiently.
Russ: but then knowing the functions
of the jet engine and how he came about it would be
also considered quite useful.
Kiri: that’s correct and it does serve
a function because with jet engines, you can
progress on to higher level of engines. Once
achieving a scientific level, you can take the next
step up and the next step up and the next step up
and the next step up. For example, piston engine
right? No, no lets skip that, steam
engine becomes internal combustion engine becomes
the jet engine in turn becomes the ramjet
followed by the scramjet
in turn followed by spatial travel. You see what I’m
saying?
Russ: uh-huh.
Kiri: whereas baseball stats of Babe
Ruth, where do they go?
Russ: right, so that’s the difference
between trivial knowledge and useful knowledge.
Kiri: that’s correct, so it is
important to elaborate when you use wisdom or
knowledge and patience to steps towards wisdom, you
have to elaborate on useful knowledge or working
knowledge.
Russ: what about psychic knowledge?
Kiri: psychic knowledge? That is part
of the step towards wisdom certainly but it is not
just one type of knowledge that makes you wise, it
is a wide variety of knowledges that makes you wise.
I could be the smartest engineer in four
dimensions.......
Russ: right.
Kiri: total genius when it comes to it
but if I don’t know that I have to wind up my wrist
chronometer every morning, then it’s useless. If I
don’t know that I have to have patience to achieve a
goal or how to operate the computer, then again it’s
wasted. So to become patient, you have to have a lot
of different types of knowledge to achieve one’s
end.
Russ: to be patient?
Kiri: to be patient, yes.
Russ: hmm.
Kiri: but that is part of the key to
our society is being able to be patient with
knowledge is a step on the road to wisdom. It is
taught very extensively in our monastic society when
somebody takes an oath of monasticism….
Russ: uh-huh.
Kiri: because we go to those people
for information and help. Take my grandmother for
example, whenever I need help or somebody to talk
to, who do I go to? I go to her because she has
access to knowledge that I don’t have. By putting
herself in a situation where she steps out of her
body basically, astral travels to a different plane
of existence, she can communicate with people that
have gone before and that are ready to come again to
achieve the information that she needs.
Russ: hmmm, now has she been able to
do this for a long time or is this something she's
able to do because she’s getting close to that point
herself?
Kiri: I think it’s a little bit of
both that she’s been working on achieving that goal
for a long time but she’s also getting ready for it
herself. She’s been a nun now I believe for about 30
of your years? Maybe a little bit more but I’m not
too sure. So I think it is partly due to the
fact that she has reached a wisdom level or a
knowledge level and she has an inordinate amount of
patience but her life is bound by rituals. For
example, you missed a golden opportunity as I said
to learn a lot of information from her. She would’ve
been delighted to have sat patiently and talk to you
for hours on end giving you information if you had
asked the right questions in the right way. How you
would’ve done that would have been that you would’ve
sat down at her feet and called her mother because
she is mother in a way and you sit down to her and
you would ask, “mother, tell me.” And you would
pause and wait patiently and she would look at you
and she would go, “what do you wish to know my son?”
A little bit like your society.
Russ: uh-huh.
Kiri: and you would then explain the
situation but you’d have to be very careful and
ritualistic about it. You being a man would be
slightly different from the way that I would do it.
How I would do it would be, I would say, “mother, I
wish to have understanding.” And she would say,
“understanding of what?” And I would say,
“understanding of just a small matter that has
concerned me for some time.” And she would go, “what
has concerned you for some time?” And I would say,
“it is whether or not it is
appropriate to open up a particular file?”....but I
would name that file you see?
Russ: uh-huh.
Kiri: and she would go, “why would you
want to open up that file?” And I would say, “I am
searching for knowledge, truth and wisdom.” And then
she would ask me what wisdom is. You see how
ritualized it is?
Russ: I don’t think I could do it
without goofing up.
Kiri: I think she would understand
your…..
Russ: we come from third dimension.
Kiri: yeah.
Russ: I mean we don’t deal with the
patience yet.
John: but it sounds like the method
you use, every question stimulates a question?
Kiri: uh-huh.
John: is that basically what you’re
doing?
Kiri: yes, yes it is because…..
John: interesting.
Kiri: the age that she is, is that
sometimes she’s not sure of which world she’s in or
which plane of existence, whether or not she’s on a
higher or lower plane.
John: but is that a good learning
tool, answering a question with a question?
Kiri: yes.
John: and continuing back and forth
like that?
Kiri: it is something that we as an
engineer are taught.
John: oh okay.
Kiri: for example, if I turn this
wheel here which is touching this wheel right, which
way will it turn? Will they both turn in the same
direction or will one turn in the opposite way than
the other one.
John: one will turn the opposite way
to the other one.
Kiri: why?
John: well if you're turning one
counterclockwise and the two wheels are touching,
the one you’re turning counterclockwise, the other wheel
will turn clockwise. No?
Kiri: no, they turn in the same
direction.
John: they turn in the same direction.
Kiri: they’re touching, they
push each other around but why?
John: but why? Because of the physical
force involved.
Kiri: yes, but why? Why is the
physical force involved?
Russ: friction.
Kiri: why is friction involved?
Russ: because they’re touching.
Kiri: why are they touching?
Russ: I guess because you put them
together.
Kiri: but you see what’s happening is
that each answer stimulates the next question.
John: yeah, I understand, that’s
interesting.
Kiri: uh-huh which is very important
and it’s the same in our ritualized society when we
are asking questions of the nuns or the priests or
the brothers, we ask them a question. By asking them
a question, that makes them go through the ritual of
asking you a question and in turn you both learn by
asking the question and giving the answer. Now
finally you get to the final question of questions
and you will say, “Oh mother, this is the last
question that I will ask.” And she will go, “what is
it that you wish my daughter?” And I will say, “the
question that I wish to ask is but of an
insignificant matter.” And she will say the final
comment, “nothing is of insignificance, the most
littlist and so on…….” That she will say something
along the lines of, “the most littlist of things is
of much importance in the understanding of all. But
what is the question?” And then I ask the question.
Russ: uh-huh, well being as
I won't be talking to your
grandmother for a while.
Kiri: well she’s fine at the moment
but she has been ill for a little while when I last
talked to her.
Russ: oh she was?
John: do you mind me asking how old of
a woman she is?
Kiri: oh she is coming up
on her 802nd birthday.
John: yeah, that’s getting up there.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: in 800 years, we won’t look this
good.
Kiri: she always looks good though.
Russ: she looked happy.
Kiri: uh-huh, she always looks happy.
Russ: well Johnny, that tape work
okay? It’s going okay?
John: oh yeah, no problem there, it’s
fine.
Kiri: it should almost be over, should
have like 10 minutes left.
John: yeah, something like that, maybe
less.
Kiri: uh-huh. But you
see how ritualized our religions are, you say that
we have no religion.
Russ: well I don’t say that, I say
there’s no questing.
Kiri: oh there is questing, believe
you me it’s just that I do not try to inflict that
side of my life on you, Johnny or Mark?
Russ: but that’s just it though, maybe
that’s something we want.........
Kiri: you've never asked me before.
John: is it a Christian religion?
Kiri: no.
Russ: no but see that’s why I’m asking
you now so I can have understanding, it’s knowledge
that I seek.
Kiri: uh-huh.
Russ: this is part of that knowledge.
Kiri: why do you seek the knowledge?
Russ: so I can become wise.
Kiri: what is wise?
Russ: the combination of knowledge and
patience.
Kiri: we could get into a cycle here,
I could do the mother.
Russ: you could, but since you know
what I want to know, couldn’t it just be well a
little less important than it needs to be?
Kiri: oh, I see.
Russ: so, if not tonight, at some
point in the future.
Kiri: you would like me to explain
about the religions of Sirius.
Russ: I would indeed.
Kiri: okay, now I must preface it by
saying that I come from the highlands so it is a
mountain religion.
Russ: that’s fine, I will understand
that there is differences and…..
Kiri: yes, there are differences.
Russ: different cultures, I mean we
have the same thing down here.
Kiri: yeah.
Russ: but at the same time, yes that
adds to my understanding of what it is that you come
from and more understanding of you darling.
Kiri: oh thank you. Without sounding a
little bit conceited and arrogant, I am more
religious than Karra and Karra will admit to that.
Russ: okay.
Kiri: it was due to the fact that
whilst mother was very ill, that grandmother used to
come and stay for long periods of time.
Russ: and Karra wasn’t there during a
lot of that.
Kiri: and I was and she was my
surrogate mother so her religious
views did influence me a lot. The fact that she came
from way out in……..if she was living on
your planet, she would have come from the back
country of the Ozarks.
John: oh okay.
Kiri: uh-huh, she is as she always
says, she’s just a simple country girl.
John: yeah.
Kiri: and so therefore her religious
views are very, very deep within her, very ingrained
in her mannerisms and have always been there. Me,
being the daughter of Tanaka and Miranda, it was
difficult the two totally different lifestyles
clashing made me what I am whereas Karra is more
like our father.....
Russ: uh-huh.
Kiri: I’m more like my mother in the
fact that my eyes are big like hers were big in
seeing everything new, everything fascinated her.
Whether it was for pleasure or questing for
knowledge, it just fascinated her.
Russ: still does.
(Ed note: in the form of
Miranda, Karra's granddaughter)
Kiri: yes well we know that but for me
it’s the same thing that we were more like children
together if you know what I mean.
Russ: right.
Kiri: until she started going off on
long trips being an engineer and I always wanted to
be like her. That’s probably why I became an
engineer you know?
Russ: hmmm.
Kiri: I think I would’ve become one
naturally anyway but the fact that at an early age I
wanted to be an engineer, I used to break down my
little servant robots.
Russ: well I'll bet that upset dad.
Kiri: he used to find it funny
actually because I would send them off to go and get
things for me, especially when I was reaching my
middle teens, that was fun. I would send them off to
spy on people.
Russ: I believe it.
Kiri: uh-huh, in fact that’s when I
discovered I preferred women over men actually or
the idea was more appealing of women and women than
men and women.
Russ: right.
